I just don't get any of the logic in getting Stallworth.
I makes little sense.
He is fast, but has poor hands. He is a complainer and a headcase.
He has off the field problems. He is always injured.
There are some who think the Dolphins should sign this guy.
Ginn is faster, has average hands, yet is a great citizen and a hard worker.
I would rather have Ginn any day over Stallworth.

Okay, question wouldn't the price of these guys almost be the same?? Stallworth wants big money and we all know that a 1st rounder wants big money.

So, do we use the money on the Vet or the Rook????

Money wise???

well id rather have stallworth...so we dont have to burn a pick on a wr in the first..we can get another position filled

A rookie dude, hands down. Specially a rookie with as much talent(x/it factor) as Ginn has.

Stalworth is in the drug program. Haven't we suffered enough with Williams?

Sometimes this organization drives me to the point of insanity.

-First, we lost our coward ex-head coach to college and intently considered hiring another HC(Jim Mora) who had expressed intentions of ditching the NFL to coach at his alma matter.

-Now, after suffering through 4 years of Williams on and off again routine we're taking a serious look at Stalworth who isn't even in the same stratosphere as Ricky Williams to have to put up with his bull****.

I don't get it. Someone please explain it to me.

Ginn is a middle to late first rounder at best...
Hes unproven, and his hands are shaky

Stallworth, had 38 catches and over 700 yards, it makes perfect sense why we would want to sign him, and theres much logic behind it.
the guy averaged 19.1 yards a catch.

This draft would be a huge dissapointment if we wasted out first round pick on Ginn...and Its not going to happen....
Mark my words..

Im not saying that I am a huge advocate of Stallworth, but Its common sence why you would take him over Ginn...

I understand the questions with Stallworth and It worries me, but the specifics of his drug situation arent clear as far as where he stands on suspensions, and the Dolphins know more than we speculators do.

And its insanity to give an unproven rookie with questions, the same money as a proven long threat like Stallworth...

BUT, yes he does get injured...and yes that worries me....

BUT, I dont want Ginn..UNLESS hes available at 39

I'm taking both...but, likely Stalworth would be a one year deal. That gives Ginn a year to develop and still contribute.

Vick goes on the practice squad or gone...and the Phins may consider keeping 6 roster spots open for the WR position.

I 100% unquestionably agree. I think they should draft Ginn at #9.

i like the stallworth pick bc i think he's the type of receiver we are looking for and we can then focus on other need positions in the draft.....

I'd prefer Stallworth over Ginn simply because I don't think drafting Ginn in the first round would be our best thing to do. We need to draft BPA IMO and if Adrian Peterson is there, we trade down with someone (Preferably not Buffalo)

Ginn would be a colossal waste of a top 10 draft pick. He's nothing more than a KR/PR.
He would certainly help the team much like Hester and Donte Hall help their respective teams, BUT he is not a polished WR and he has questionable hands. You don't spend top 10 money on that.

Ginn at 9 is no better a draft pick the John Avery, Jamar Fletcher, giving up a 4th to get Carey etc....

It is just bad value. You don't waste your 1st rounder on a reach or a stretch. That is wht the later rounds are for.

If we were in the late Teens then he is a good value pick. But at 9 guys like Landry, Nelson, Branch, etc are better value picks. I could think of about 19 guys I would pick in this draft before Ginn. Probably more. So that is why it is bad value.

heres my view- u make the move for stallworth unless ginn blows u out of the water...

ginn is a fantastic talent but as a receiver wont be that reliable, not without some coaching...plus u burn a pick when we have so many glaring needs...thats huge in todays era of the cap...
