Stark and McCain not in London

Philbin and the coaches gave up their first class seat for the players.

Philbin announces that moving forward the depth chart the team releases early in week will reflect starters unless he decides differently.

Philbin says Chris McCain didn't make the trip due to a "personal thing."

Joe Philbin said the biggest issue is his team has struggles with his consistency. "We need a consistent performance in all 3 phases."

"The thing we haven't done a good job of has been third down offense," Philbin said. "It comes down to execution."

Philbin on Starks loss: Anthony Johnson has played some, Derrick Shelby has played some inside. DeAndre Coleman.

Tannehill comes up and says "hallo" with a British accent.

Joe Philbin told Ryan Tannehill, "easy crowd, easy crowd. You got this" before his starting QB went to the podium.

"We understand what the situation is. We understand we haven't played well. We have to get back on the right foot" Tannehill said.

Tannehill on controversy: It's done. Now we're just excited play.

Tannehill: A loss is a loss whether you lose by 1 or 30. You still have to respond and be able to comeback.

Tannehill: I like what I see this week. Guys are focused. Guys didn't get much sleep if any but guys were locked in today, no mental errors

Ryan Tannehill said this has been his most challenging week as an NFL player. Thanks Joe Philbin!

Something is going on with McCain dealing with a personal matter.
He had major issues with authority in college. That's why they kicked him out of Cal.
After such a good debut, it's surprising that we haven't seen more of him. There is a story here but the reporters are just fixated on Joe's non declaration of Tannehill as the starter.

What I heard with McCain is that he didn't get into any kind of trouble with the law or criminal stuff, just that he was a hothead on the field and argued with his coaches. Apparently he threatened to fight one of his coaches and that's why he got kicked off the team.

Wonder if McCain didn't have/couldn't get a passport.

Weird that crossed my mind also. Philbin didn't seem pleased by his response, but hard to really know. He missed some other practice time though also even before this week so who knows. It will only be a mystery for so long.

Starks is a tough dude. Must be banged up.

And this isn't the first time he's missed for a "personal matter". Given his history of being kicked off every team he's been on I'm a bit concerned that the light still hasn't come on. I'm speculating of course but McCain doesn't get the benefit of doubt given his history.

All I know is that when Chris McCain actually gets on the field, Miami is 1-0 with a win over the Patriots.

When Chris McCain gets no playing time because 'it's not that kind of game,' the team is 0-2 with losses to the Bills and Chiefs.

Is McCain allowed to leave the country? I am not trying to be funny when I say that.

So looks like Chris McCain's "personal absence" may be death in family.

RIP to my grandfather who passed on Tuesday morning. I appreciate everything you've done for me. The… instagram.com/p/tWLGQFJLj4/
