i would like to start grooming berlin as the future qb. he has shown some good stuff in his first two games.

both gus and AJ sucked.
we know that neither of these two qb's is the future.
so why not try and groom berlin to be that?

what would starting gus do this season?
absolutely nothing.

and about ricky.

this jags game, he has shown some of his former brilliance.
we can see that ricky is regaining his weight and poise.
we should keep him and NOT TRADE HIM.

why trade him for a low round pick and let him tear it up with another team? and get a so so player in return that probably will be a bust.

and plus we dont know if ronnie will be good in the NFL?

i say start berlin and keep ricky.

I think he has played good the last 2 games but he definatly shouldn't be starting...yet.
 
i dont think he should start this year, thats just crazy man, MAYBE (big maybe) next, or two years from now. let frerotte have a shot. hehehe, that rhymed.

I dont know about Brock being the future but i know we shouldnt get rid of Ricky thats for damn sure ... Ricky = Runnin Game

Somthing we need cause we sure as hell cant pass with Feeley
 
you guys laugh but we have no QB. 4 of them, none of which have the characteristics of a champion. Berlin in both games looked sharp for the most part. I have been more impreseed with Sage and Brock then AJ or Gus.

I think our 3 QB's should be

1. Gus
2. Sage
3. Berlin

We'll trade AJ back to philly for our #2 back :) lol

Oh yeah, lets start Berlin because he is doing well (not anything fantastic) against THIRD TEAM defenses in the Preseason. Nice logic there.

As of now I agree...and I was a big feeley guy going in. Sage and Berlin have outplayed him IMO. However, before we do that Id like to see sage and berlin go up against some first stringers in the next few games. Some of you might think its crazy to consider sage or berlin as our starting QB or qbs of the future, but would it really hurt to give them a start in preseason vs a first team D just to see how they do?
 
Berlin has done well against players that are going to be back-ups or not even make the team. i would like Saban to play Berlin a little earlier in the game against better defensive players to see what he really has.

maybe 3rd string but give him chambers booker boston mcmike and ricky and see what this young stud can do:evil:
