It's time to make a move at CB to speed up his progression and let him reach his potential. Jamar Taylor has been absolutely terrible this year, Brice is what he is, a career backup, solid depth at best. Bobby is a natural cover corner who can create turnovers and whenever he's been on the field he showed up. Played every snap against the Eagles and had a good game. There's no reason to continue to have him back up the likes of Jamar and Brice when he's outplaying them just because he's young.

he played awful sunday...first td he lets his man go sits outside like its zone and triples another option got beaten multiple times out of the cut in space and got a lucky drop from Austin I think it was down the seam for a big play

that kids not ready to start on no boundary...no way

sure he competes but no not ready...awful is probably a strong word given how green he is but i'll pass on the start on the boundary there in 2015

The "should have been" TD to Austin was easy money with Bobby covering. Not sure he's any better than what we have.

I know we're not even close to a playoff team and I'm sure Finheaven knows this as well but as long as we're alive the coaches should play the vets if healthy. Once we get to 8 losses time to see what we have and hopefully Parker is included in that.

For what it's worth my buddy who plays receiver played against him in the preseason and when I asked him how our players looked the first words out of his mouth were " whoever 28 is sucks"

Our corners suck. But Bobby competes his tail off. I'll start Bobby amd take my lumps

You're saying your buddy is in the nfl?

Yeah that TD he gave everyone up to the Eagles was just horrible.

what are you even talking about? he tripped and fell on that TD catch, had good coverage until then. and why do you act like you wore a headset with all the calls coming through? how do you even know what coverage they played or what their assignments were?

i just looked him up on PFF and they pretty much nailed it. he's been our best cover corner this year, even better than grimes. he had a good game against the eagles. jamar taylor is one of the worst corners in the league according to them and brice is also rated way behind bobby.

Who we need to start is Chris McCain.
I'm not sure he can hold up right now as an every down DE. He said our dumb (former) coaching staff told him to lose weight when they switched him to LB. He's at 220 pounds right now, he's built like a praying mantis. If he can go back to 240-250 I'd like him to be an every down DE. But at the very least he should be a nickel rusher. He's still not getting enough snaps right now but that number is probably going up the next few weeks after his ridiculous sack. Poor Bradford..actually felt bad for him when he walked off the field holding his arm.

so you are telling me huff wasn't his man and he left him wide open in the back of the end zone on the Bradford scramble drill td? is that what you are getting at or that he didn't get bailed out on some chunk plays? cause I'm sure pff doesn't account for bail out in its ratings...

tell ya what when I get home I will dig thru every snap he took...me and my head set

first of all that was on aikens if you actually go and watch the play. he went outside to double cover another receiver leaving huff wide open in the middle. bobby had his man in coverage. secondly it was a 2 yard pass and bradford had all day. and when you cover guys in the endzone and you have a QB that runs around back there going through all his targets over and over again waiting for somebody to get open its impossible for a DB to stick with that guy. those routes aren't designed at that point, the receivers just run any direction they want to get the DB off of them. so you can't even really blame aiken either but if you want to blame somebody thats him. bobby had nothing to do with it, he was covering his guy and sticking with him

was it man coverage or zone? and if aikens was across from huff on the play than fair enough I got the wrong guy on that one...I thought it was 28 but if it was 35 ok...

as for all of it I will check it for myself though...

i see the problem...aikens makes a late coverage call to jamar taylor i dont think anyone else gets it we got taylor following the motion wr bottom to top side like man and everyone else is playing zone except aikens and taylor

I assumed cause i saw the db follow the motion wr across the formation that it was man but what it really was was a not everyone on the same page issue and that falls on the guy making the secondary calls and in this case it looks to be aikens

Taylor even has his hands up pre snap like whats the call

Thanks for getting me straight
