Why doesn't Ronnie have more than 8 carries?

Gus has been horrible all season - Denver.
Sage cannot be any worse.
Start Sage, not because of his one bomb...
But again, he cannot be any worse.

I backed Sage last year over Feeley and was bashed for it. I do think Gus should have started this year, but what the heck, Sage should get a try at this point, he sure hooks up with Chambers well in his two games!

Ricky is hurting us, Brown needs more touches!

I so agree..... Start Sage All Gus does is over throw guys getting us out of a rythm or none at all.

I agree, especially about Ronnie. I didn't understand why Saban let Ricky split time in his first game back last week. Ronnie had been developing for the previous 4 games. Ricky should have been SLOWLY introduced to the offense. Ricky still needs to prove that he can play. He needs to make the most of a FEW opportunities each game.

As far as Frerotte goes... yikes. He is stinking it up more and more each game. He is progressively getting worse. It would not hurt to try Sage at QB. I like that idea too. Frerotte's offense is lazy and off-beat.

I agree. We also need to stop letting Ricky get carries. Sure he was great two years ago when he played in the NFL, but the guy is just not up to game speed yet. Let Ronnie carry it 20 times, let Sage throw it 15-20 times and call it a day. It can't be any worse than this. I mean, it's comical how awful Gus is. Everything is an overthrow. I'd love for Frerotte to line up at C because he's probably better than McKinnie.

I agree that a move to Sage can't hurt. Heck, how can things get any worse. My stomach hurts after this loss. That being said, we need to develop the o line. Look how many good QB's have been ruined because they don't have the time to throw or their o line won't allow a great back such as Ronnie to control the time of possession.

Best point made. Everyone is complaining how Chambers isn't stepping it up this year like everyone expected. That's because he's not getting the ball. And when they are thrown to him, they are horribly thrown. Both games Sage has played, he hooked up with Chambers for long TD scores. You want to see Chambers step up his play, start Sage.

ok hold on. Brown had an amazing run which padded his stats. The line sucks, if not for that run, his stats are mediocre. After the injuries, the 2 glaring points are the line and the secondary. Ricky and Ronnie are not the problem.

Linehan has got to be kidding. Ronnie got 8 carries all game. Our defense needs rest since they are on the field 3/4 of every game. Run the ball. Gus couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat. Ronnies needs 20-25 carries a game min. and Ricky should just come in to give Ronnie some rest. Gus is killing this team and Sage needs some reps because Gus isn't getting it done and Sage sure as hell can't do any worse.

Linehan must be fired. Ricky will be fine but both Ricky and Ronnie need their carries. Priest and Johnson had 15 or so carries each. That is what we need to be doing. Both improve with runs.

There is no way Saban or Linehan can defend starting Gus anymore so I am sure we will be playing with Sage next week. That is the victory that occured tonight.

Ronnie's amazing run padded his stats, but are you gonna complain? Take away the long run and he's got 7 rushes for 30 yards. That's still a 4.0+ ypc. Ricky is a problem, he's just not at NFL speed regardless of how great he looked in preseason and practice. I don't care who you are, 6 rushes for -1 yards is completely unacceptable.
