start Sage Rosenfels!!!

Is this the same Sage Rosenfels that has not been able to beat out ANY of our QBs in his 3 yrs here ?? This guy couldn't beat out Ears, AJ, or Gus...

Our QB situation is disconcerting, but Sage would only make it worse...besides, if the OL plays like they did Thurs night all season, we'll need that 3rd QB...

i don't know too much about sage's abilities, but he did seem to be the only one of the three that gave a rat's ***!

I don't think he'll start the year but I would be almost willing to wager he'll start a game by the end of the year. I'm thinking Saban is going to put him 2nd in depth and start Gus. Initially I thought Feely should be the starter but I really feel he deserves 3rd string at this point. Gus gives us the best chance of the three despite that being a very poor chance. He'll probably lose a series of games and that's when we start doing the starting QB shuffle in which case we find out we're screwed whoever it may be. It is what it is... we'll have to win with running for the time being and maybe get a glimmer of a decent passing game once in awhile.

Wow its back and forth with this Qb situation everytime somone does good START HIM...OH NO START HIM... IN my eyes no one can start right now...unless they really prove it

The Atlanta announcers are saying, "I'm not kissing up to the guy. But Sage Rosenfels out of Iowa State has looked better than the other two guys".

They also have mentioned when he's looked off the safeties and that he's shown a good command of what the Dolphins want to do on offense. Maybe last year's Baltimore game wasn't a fluke (where Sage showed MUCH more command than Feeley).

When he's played, Sage has generally shown good pocket presence. Has this been the case tonight??

That was one of the few (very few) nice things they had to say about the Fins, their comments were disgusting, even worse than the Jets commentators who come here every year for the game, all they did was ignore the fins altogether like the Jets were the only ones on the field, but those smartalecks last night had quite a few laughs about our team. Very unprofessional.

NO HE DIDNT! Tom Brady beat the Pats!

No, Brady was exposed as an average QB when a dominant defense kicked his butt.

Rosenfels should get a shot....

A.J sucks and Gus sucks.....

Let see what can Rosefenls do.

Stranger things have happened in the NFL...I agree, give the guy a chance while he's "hot"......Saban can always make a change if it doesn't work!

If I was Saban I would make Gus the starter, Sage #2 and Feeley #3. If Gus stinks up the game in the first half against the Broncs then I would bring in Sage for the 2nd half and see how that goes. If Sage does not play any better then Gus would be the starter for the rest of the year barring any injuries.

Why should Sage get the job of "catch up" after the starter screws up....let him start a game.

The dingles in here saying sage has had his chance are really out of touch .. first off FEELY and FERROTTE have had alot more chances than sage has and have shown they are not starting caliber players .. the reason sage hasnt gotten the playing time is that last year we had our front office WASTE a draft pick and a sh*t load of money on a guy that they thought was a sleeper ..and of course he and fiedler got all the snaps in practice etc...now we have ferrotte coming in with linehan and of course to save face we have to play the guy..linehan i am sure is staking some of his credibility on ferrootte ..also they didnt want to give up on AJ (because of what they have invested in him! THAT is why sage really HASNT gotten his chance! Think about it guys, starting sage would be a genuis move on sabans part IMHO,signalingthat NO ONE who doesnt produce gets to play .. regardless of thier "standing" on this team .. Sage has always played well when he was called upon even if it has been against leser compitition. How ANYONE of the brianiacs here can say he has "had his chance" shows what i feel is a true ignorance of the nuances that are invloved. Sage DESERVES a REAL chance .Much more so than a linehan doodleberry and a overpaid underaccomplished screwball trade mistake.

i agree. The competition has always been about Feeley and someone else. Sage has always been the other guy. There was no time that Sage was actually in the quarterback competion. He looked good last year in preseason but was considered the backup. I think it is time to give him a chance by giving him a start. Tell me when he had his chances and ill be happy.

Sage deserves his chance. Starting AJ or Frerotte rewards them for their non-production and signals to the team that guys will play not based on what they are doing this year, but on past accomplishments (which in both AJs and Gus's case are few). Send the message to the team that the guy who plays best will start.

Well the good thing with Sage is physically he's more than adequate. In fact he's got quite a bit more talent than the other two. It's just how will he do under the pressure. Considering he played alright against the Ravens other than his pickoffs I wouldn't be so opposed to starting him.

to Sage's defense in that game, he had very little preparation to get ready for one of the top defenses in the league. In fact, he was making his first start against an airtight defense. Nobody would've fared better in Baltimore.

Hopefully Nick and Scott have made up their minds by Sunday

I actually think he should start crazy enough as it sounds because he has some potential I don't think the other two have.
