Start Wake...Who's with me?

Hello all, after watching the game yesterday I have to admit that this guy just seems to be a good player. Now I'm not trying to knock on Porter, but he really has been slowed by that hamstring injury and I think its about time he takes a seat like the other HURT players (Crowder & Ferg). When healthy Porter is obviously a force (aka. 17.5 sacks last year), but I think its time Wake gets the start no matter how big of an ego Porter has.

I would. If Porter was even in the mix I'd say no. He is non-existant and I would like to see what this kid can do! I'd say give him a chance. At the very least, get him in there on every passing situation.

Get him in on 2nd and 3rd and long - what have we to lose with three rooks in the secondary..., Brady was too comfotrable back there... period

Don't think anyone would disagree with this.

At this point, he's our best Chance at getting pressure on the qb cause Joey no show porter isn't going to get it done.

If our team is going to be about "The best player" playing then Wake needs to get a chance, at the very least it could fire Porter up a bit.

porter is pretty much done. wake - starting or not - should be getting more PT regardless.

I also watched the game yesterday. Everytime Wake came in the game, its like our defense changed & we ACTUALLY got pressure on the QB. I don't know what the hell happened to Porter this year. Its like he's taken the year off. Our defense has regressed this year because of our lack of pass rush. Brady had all damn day to throw the ball. Start Wake & Bench Porter!!!

Porter hasn't done much this year and even less yesterday. I know he's been hurt but we are getting nothing from that side of the line right now. I say sit him, move JT over to the weakside and bring Wake in on passing downs behind Roth.

Wake cant start yet, although I think she should be in on every passing down. I dont want Wake in on 1 and 2nd downs yet. He needs to learn coverage and run D first.

Well already know that Wake is the superior pass rusher and I doubt Wake can be much worse against the run than Joey. I guess the biggest concern is how good Wake can be in coverage.
