I was just thinking about how many starters we have lost in the past 12 months
its crazy!

1.o-gun
2.ricky
3.konrad
4.fiedler(a good loss)
5.knight
6.boston
7.freeman
8.surtain
9.greenwood

In a way u could add Bowens and Chester in there for last year, and maybe Bowens for good if his back doesnt do some suprenatural healing.

1. traded for starting wr and little loss at DE
2. whatayagunnado!
3. rarely truly started due to injury and underachieved
4. it was time
5. a stop gap that didn't impress
6. How can you call him a starter?
7. eh
8. sad, but smart business move
9. overpriced

Can't say any really sadden me.

Here's an even better way to look at it.

Most replacements for that list are either better or more athletic with more potential.

1. Kevin Carter, Matt Roth
2. Ronnie Brown
3. (doesn't really matter with new system, but Heath Evans)
4. AJ Feeley
5. Tebucky Jones
6. He still may come back.
7. we may look at Lance Schulters
8. only true loss, but it was a necessary move.
9. Channing Crowder

It's a unique way of rebuilding, we are rebuiliding, but not so much to be good a couple of years from now, Saban wants to be good every single year, what this team has done has been pretty impressive!

tebuckey jones has nothing left, he looked incredibly old and slow last year.

losing knight and surtain will hurt your team bigtime....

That's what happens when you play out of position and have horrible coaching.
(Rick Venturi=worst defensive coordinator in NFL.)

...and like Sammy Knight is a burner.

Fiedler, Freeman and Greenwood are easily replaced. Neither one ever distinguished themselves as anything more than an average NFL player at their positions. Konrad was an underachiever (255 lbs and running a 4.5 40) who could never stay on the field. Ogun benefitted from JT. He's a good player, but not an elite one. Roth I believe will be as good, or better.

Even with all of the negative things that have happened to us last year we were still competitive-(just ask buffalo) -if we suck so bad they should of rolled us, didnt happen!! I think we have started to close the gap this year on the east..I hope everyone looks at Miami as if were going to still be a 4-12 team and we have done nothing to improve...Theres no need to fear UNDERDOG is here!! :cooldude:

Neither one of your starting corners would be a lock to even make the Dolphins' roster. Bellichick did a good job hiding them during the playoffs and SB. With an entire offseason to prepare, the rest of the league will find a way to exploit that BIG weakness in your defense.
Your LB's aren't exactly spring chickens. Your 2 big play LB's were McGinest and Bruschi. McGinest isn't getting any younger and Bruschi's future is uncertain. David Terrell has been a bust, so far in his career.
I wouldn't go so far as to say they are loaded. They have major question marks too. That doesn't even include the loss of Weiss and Crennel.

And the best one yet......WANNY!!!

Agreed, without losing him to early retirement we would just continue our cycle of bad Dolphin football.

Yeah and none of the pats losses will hurt them at all.

LOL, but your losses of Troy Brown, Patten, Andruzzi, Brushci, Ty Law, and the two big hits of Weis and Crennel dont hurt you guys..... I see how this works!!!?

I think some Pat's fans are in for a rude awakening...... no doubt you guys have had great teams the last few years, but it looks like it could be downhill from here.....
