It looks solid right now but we need Depth all around. The DL is solid but Roth will prolly be gone next year and Soliai needs to prove he is more than a bench player. Also Ferguson and Holliday are getting up there in age. With that said even if Holliday were to leave we have Starks to fill in for him and Moses and Wright look like they are capable of playing if called apon. I think We need to Focus on getting a NT of the future and adding more youth to the LB core.

Starks and even Wright have a better chance at starting than Merling at this point ...

Torbor could easily beat out Crowder in the middle ...

Yeah for now Merling is just part of the rotation until he understands his role in a 3-4 to me it seems like he is got the idea using leverage and occupies blockers well but he does need to put some muscle on and learn the trade then the reigns are his he adds depth so we can rotate guys in and out keep them fresh and beat them down in the forth when they are sucking wind and our guys are going full bore.

the Lb core is still up in the air to me i think that maybe a draft pick if not a FA after the June cuts. we will see
