That's excellent. Saved me some time. But I don't think you are correct at LT. Wayne Moore was with the team and I'm fairly certain he was the starter. I know he made the Pro Bowl a year later and I doubt that would have happened his first year as a starter. I remember watching Moore in warmups as early as 1970. That was one of our great coups, same as snatching Langer off waivers and Little via a cheap trade. The 49ers tried to sneak Moore thru waivers by listing his first name as Solomon. They may have even changed his position in the waiver listing. But Monte Clark knew his legal name was Solomen and we claimed Moore off waivers.

I just looked it up and refreshed the memory of my youth. Doug Crusan and Wayne Moore split time at LT in '72. Crusan was apparently the starter most of the year but Mooore actually got the bulk of the playing time. Moore started the Super Bowl versus the Redskins. As the season went on offensive line coach Monte Clark probably realized Mooore was the superior player, just as he did in preseason '72, forcing Shula to oust incumbent center Bob DeMarco in favor of unproven Jim Langer. Clark threatened to resign if Demarco wasn't cut and replaced by Langer.

Yep...that's true! Momte Clark had to beg Shues and threatened to quit if Langer wasn't promoted to starter.

The Dolphin media guide lists Crusan as getting 10 starts during the regular season. Wayne Moore joined the team in 1970 and did play but wasn't the full time starter until the next season.

Its interesting that when Csonka was inducted into the Dolphin Ring of Fame he mentioned six Olinemen and included in that group were both LT's.
