Starting QB next week

Who should start against the Bengals next week?

I agree. But will we ever be in the win now business if we keep looking to the future. One thing 2020 showed us is nothing is guaranteed. We should start fitz and win now
 
Even if you want Fitz, he's better as a reliever anyway - so it's better if Tua starts. Best case Tua plays well and continues on playing. Worst case, Tua looks awful or god forbid gets injured and Fitz comes in to do what he does best - look like a very good starter in relief before he turns into a pumpkin (read: 6 ints and scoring on his own team) when given enough starts.

And one of our fine members already posted Flores confirming Tua is the starter as soon as healthy.
 
I would start Tua even though I see Fitz being better. We aren’t making the playoffs, Fitz has never led a team to the playoffs. However, the more Tua plays, the faster everyone will realize that we need to draft another QB. However, I bet Flo keeps Tua on the bench for the rest of the season saying he is hurt

Plus, "flip flopping" is a highly charged derogatory...

Worst case = Flo is as flow goes.

If you think he's flip-flopping on Tua and Fitz then you must think Tua isn't really hurt, which means our 1st round selection and hope for the future of this franchise was dressed in a hoodie on the sideline while perfectly healthy. Do you think an NFL head coach would really do this?
 
If healthy start Tua against the Bengals, but do not hesitate to bring in Fitz. Football is a team game. It does not mean Tua is not the answer, we all grow in our careers. We have less offensive threats than the 0-10 Jets. They have the worst team offensive stats in the NFL and yet except for our QBs , they are better at RB,WR , We might win out at tight end. Just by a little bit. Yet we are complaining about how we are 7-4, with that level of talent on offense. Yes we need playmakers and I can not wait to get them. The key is we have hit on most of the offensive line picks from the last draft class.

I meant moreso benching Fitz for Tua and than benching Tua in the Denver game. Not to mention benching Fitz for Rosen and than benching Rosen for Fitz. I'm not gonna propose conspiracy theories on whether Tua was really injured or not.
 
I think Fitz should start to let Tua rest to get healthy. Once Tua gets healthy, Fitz should continue to play until he stinks it up. I want both of my QB's on a short leash.

That will help Tua focus on developing and will keep a fire under Ryan Fitzpatrick to not have a 3 interception game like he has in the past.
