Fitz isn't much better if any better than Tua. He's thrown 8 int's against some poor competition. If Tua's doesn't start and they say his thumb still hurts, that's going to bring forth a bunch of questions. It sounded like Tua told Flo he was ready on Sunday but still he didn't get the nod. I'm reading that it could take 6 weeks for a sprained thumb to heal.
Maybe reading comprehension isn't your forte?

Perhaps you simply don't trust Flo?

Possible you are the type that sees conspiracy everywhere?

Asking for a friend. He won't ask himself because....well....the CIA.

Where did you read that Tua told Flo he was ready or it may take 6 weeks for the thumb? I saw one report that said it could be multiple weeks but none that said 6.

Remember when Brady beat us with a swollen thumb the size of a grapefruit?

I need see more of Tua to see what we got at qb this yr..I already know what Fitzpatrick bring too table..even if we start fitz it still ain't going be easy our last 4 games people...

Now I know why @Pachyderm_Wave didn’t want Tua in Miami....... some of the fans of this proud franchise are clueless, especially the ones throwing out PS/backup/FA QB names to start.
I think they are joking! I don’t think anyone wants Ruddock or Sinnett to start. I think to some it’s so obviously Tua they are mocking the thread.

Have to go with Tua if he's ready. It's the Bengals, come on. After that tho, I'd have no reservations about going with Fitz the rest of the way if we have to. Put Tua on a short lease starting with KC.

Nobody needs to keep bringing up Fitz’s INT’s, we all know. That’s how he plays, he takes swings, some work some are disastrous. It’s how he has and always will play. At the end of the day if we aren’t getting good QB play I’d rather ride someone who takes swings then lives on sacks, throwaways and punts because sometimes when you swing you hit.

Against Denver Tua wasn’t taking any swings. To me that is the most frustrating QB play to watch. I think he learned a lesson and I expect him not to be nearly as gun shy his next time out. If there’s one thing we learned about Tua its that when he is given something to learn he works until he becomes one of the very best at it. I think we are going to see him pulling the trigger in hi next start and I can’t wait to see how that looks. He’s probably been listening to this open when not open, make quick decisions stuff for 2 weeks now and it’s probably driving him nuts lol.

If we make playoff flores will look good.. if Fitzpatrick is qb. What happened next.we resigned Fitzpatrick for 2 yr. And dont develop or play Tua.. we still at square one at qb position..

That's a whole bunch of assumptions, without much evidence.

Anyway, what's to say we can't make the playoffs with Tua? Flo looks even better then.

It isn't the binary choice some ppl are making it.

Yo Wildman -- you can sleep well tonight knowing Flo & Co are "seriously" evaluating
our QB talent --- perhaps with microscopes or even a super collider!

How are they doing this?

We have a secret process called ----------------------------------------------- practice!

I bet Flo knows how to ramp up the heat (as needed) during this secret process to achieve keen insights!

Whomever the coach feels is going to give us the best chance to win is the QB who will play this week!

I've been on this board 4 or 5 years and while I've seen positions I didn't agree with, I've never seen this much nonsense and over-reaction about who will play at QB.

Our backup QB, Fitz, was called up in Denver when things weren't going well and he was effective.

We started Fitz against the Jets, and he was effective.

Flo felt this upcoming game was the right time for Tua to go back in and he said so.

Tua hit a helmet with his hand in practice this week.

Tua may or may not play this week, depending on how well he recovers from his hand injury.

There is no magic of any kind to this sequence of events, it happens in the NFL all the time.

Inventing reasons ranging from "the owner made him do it" to "Flo doesn't want Tua" to "the coach is inconsistent" to "Tua is hiding and using his hand as an excuse" are the kind of gibberish sports writers come up with when they have nothing else to say.

That's right, you fortune tellers are acting like the worst of the worst sports writers. Think about that!
