Well, conspiracy theories aside, a lot of what we do is speculation, and prognostication.Whomever the coach feels is going to give us the best chance to win is the QB who will play this week!
I've been on this board 4 or 5 years and while I've seen positions I didn't agree with, I've never seen this much nonsense and over-reaction about who will play at QB.
Our backup QB, Fitz, was called up in Denver when things weren't going well and he was effective.
We started Fitz against the Jets, and he was effective.
Flo felt this upcoming game was the right time for Tua to go back in and he said so.
Tua hit a helmet with his hand in practice this week.
Tua may or may not play this week, depending on how well he recovers from his hand injury.
There is no magic of any kind to this sequence of events, it happens in the NFL all the time.
Inventing reasons ranging from "the owner made him do it" to "Flo doesn't want Tua" to "the coach is inconsistent" to "Tua is hiding and using his hand as an excuse" are the kind of gibberish sports writers come up with when they have nothing else to say.
That's right, you fortune tellers are acting like the worst of the worst sports writers. Think about that!
Miami Herald's Adam Beasley reports there's "a degree of optimism internally" that Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) will play Week 13 against the Bengals.
Tagovailoa missed Week 12 against the Jets with a thumb injury, but Dolphins coach Brian Flores said afterwards that Tagovailoa was "very close" to playing and that they'll see how he does in practice this week. Practice reports will begin starting on Wednesday and a full participation would mean Ryan Fitzpatrick would slide back to the bench. For fantasy purposes, Fitzpatrick is the better quarterback but the Dolphins reasonably want to see what they have with their No. 5 overall selection.

If Tua is healthy why on earth would you not start him against a team that has only 13 sacks on the season? It's the perfect game to get him out there gaining confidence and getting into a rhythm.
