Starting Qb? Read Me!

on espnews just now 07/26/05 @8:35 p.m. central chris mortenson reported that aj feeley will be the starter on opening day. that is his opinion anyway. I also believe aj will start. you can't judge him from last season. I know some of you are getting tired of the aj threads and rumors of him starting, but hey that's what this website is for isn't it? (to chat and voice opinions on the fins.) if feeley can't improve and start over frerotte then our qb situation will not be to good. Feeley will improve and impress!!!!!!! AND START!!!!!!

nothing wrong with a old man, he did go to one pro bowl and has lots of experience and he has the stronger arm. that would just mean that we would have to draft a QB next year and I feel that we would need to anyway. We need to stop taking leftovers or back-ups that other teams don't want. We must get a good QB back there

Feeley not only will start, he NEEDS to start. This team is not going to win the Super Bowl this year. We need to see what we have in AJ. Don't tell me last season was enough. The coaches last year did not give him the best opportunity to succeed. Plus the offensive coaching staff was a JOKE.

You know what's funny brother, the Hulkster's willing to bet that pro-AJ supporters would ordinarily rip Mortenson (as they do all other NFL analysts) until he makes a comment to their liking.

What i hear after everyone says Ferotte should start is that when he deos, we will have no shot at going anywhere and then we will be drafting a qb with the first overall pick next year. Upside sounds better with Feely. I will take him beating N.E. week 17 to win the division and a first round bye instead.

no, Fuerotte can take us far but we need to draft a QB since he is old and not the QB for the future

Age at the QB position means nothing, especially when Frerotte and AJ are the exact same type of QB physically.....statuesque with a good arm

if he does not EARN the job, he doesn't DESERVE to start. He wont be just handed the job like so many people on here want.
