damn, hes a much better example. I should have thought of that. Fred Russell proves just how impossible it is to make the team really. A tema with no one near a premeire back, has a guy gain a 77 yard run in the 4th qtr during a preseaon game, and the next week hes cut.
 
In my personal opinion, it's definitely going to between Lamar Gordon and Sammy Morris. Though I do expect Ricky, Minor, and even Kay Jay Harris to get some playing time tomorrow night. Personally, I feel it could go either way with Gordon and Morris. I've heard reports Morris has looked great in camp and Morris was our starter for most of the season last year so maybe he has the advantage as of now. I personally would like to see Gordon start or at least for them to rotate, point is... I want to see all of our RB's and all of our QB's along with all the other positions get some playing time during pre-season.
 
I'd expect Morris' role to be limited. He's a lock and Linehan considers him his new Moe Williams.

Gordon is starting. There's an article out there somewhere with Saban saying it.

dont get ahead of yourself on ricky dominating 2nd and 3rd stringers, it wont happen right away, he still needs to get bigger faster and stronger, yes he has improved alot but like he even said, he is not back to form, but on winning the game, i think we have a legit shot to win, its not a for sure but i think we can, but hey its pre-season

i agree with that, people have been mentioning that they think he will possibly get cut, he will not get cut, he will be shadowed alot but i believe the one to get cut is minor, yes he is talented but its his time to move to a diff team and as for gordons role, we will showcase him as much as possible and he will be traded before the deadline
 
Ricky is gonna be tearing it up, the last time he played them he had 200 yrds and that was the 1st team defense i feel bad for the 3rd stringers

You are right, I think Ricky is the one everyone is curious to see. I know that is how I feel.
