I have been a Dolphins fan for as many years as I've watched football, just as I have been a Utah Jazz fan since I started watching basketball. Watching Taylor and Thomas play reminds me way too much of John Stockton and Karl Malone. Both are totally selfless, don't have huge egos, they just go out and play to win. They give 110% and I love them for it. But now I'm starting to worry that they will suffer the same fate as Stockton and Malone did, that's not winning a championship. They are in my opinion 2 of the best football players of all-time and I really would be sad to see them not win it all. Especially after they have repeatedly restructered their contracts to help the team and to stay in Miami. They could have both taken pay cuts and gone to Indy 3 years ago, but they didn't. I've already seen one Dolphin who deserved the ring fail to get it, I'm keepin my fingers crossed. Also want to add how freakin happy I am to see JT won the Defensive player of the year, really made my day. He is the man, I am going to buy yet another Taylor jersey this weekend. I'm thinkin orange.

i agree 100% it would be an absolute crime for them to not recieve rings before they finish there careers off here in miami, but like you said it has happend before ala marino.

they wont leave zach is a teammate he gives paycuts to the team and jason is in the best shape of his career with a defensive MVP trophie in his hands

I don't think either one of them will go anywhere, you are correct they are selfless. They are all about the TEAM and the GAME. That is what makes the lack of ring thing so sad,

Don't fret. Zach is a rock and JT is a beast.

They won't go out like that.

I thought I was the only Dolphin and Jazz fan good to see another. Are you loving the team this year. Atleast one of my teams are kickin butt

It may happen....regardless of what everyone thinks, this is good team that could beat anyone....but did not execute consistently. Poor play calling at times was definitely a factor in this season.
Often it is one or two players making a difference...at least as of late when looking at where teams get first round picks
Bears picked 4th two years ago...and are now the #1 seed in the NFC
Steelers getting Roethlisberger early...and winning a superbowl
Saints picking #2 getting Reggie Bush...and the #2 seed in the NFC

Re

wow, count me as another Phins/Jazz fan that thought he was the only one.
Funny thing is that the two franchises are remarkably similar in their recent history. Here's hoping Ronnie Brown can be our D-will next year!!!

While both great players, I would say its a pretty safe bet that beither are gonna win a Super Bowl.

They both deserve rings, no doubt. I believe they stay to see this thing through. This team is really not as bad as 6-10. And I think these two rocks will be the foundation of something beautiful, sooner rather than later. Now that the franchise is hopefully done with the pop warner coaches. Good receiving corp, average running game, good tight end, a little work on the o-line, a tweeking at the qb spot (tweeking knee that is), it's going to be ok. I just wish Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain had not gotten away. Defensive backfield needs those two soldiers.
