Trying not to make this a repetative thread, but I need to express the disappointment I feel heading into the draft for which i was pumped. I was on board with the B Marshall trade & was excited to have the extra 3rd rd pick this year thinking we will have a new starter at QB, a FA WR & new RT going into the draft. We then would have many options to look at. Instead with what I thought was the beginning of this retool turned into a tear down & thrift store shopping. I just don't at all get what we are trying to accomplish. We now are forced to draft a QB in the 1st. We are forced to overload on WR prospects. We are forced to address RT. We are forced to get a safety. I understand we needed these positions anyway, but now there is the upmost urgency. At QB we have no betterment from last year. Moore is what he is. Daboll ran a pretty good offense IMO & Moore played adequetley. I do not see a huge step FW there. Gerrard is a downgrade from Henne. We do not have a #2 level WR on the roster. We will need to rely on a R to put any fear in opposing defenses. RT will have to be filled by R or a guy coming off an injury. Murtha may be good, but too much of an unkown factor. Ok moving Jones to natural position of SS seems ok to me. But beyond him we have no one.

We would not have had to break the bank to fill these spots. Flynn was affordable. There are affordable RT options still there but seems like we are just waiting. There were options at WR that have all dried up.

Deeply disappointing ......

Hopefully something will get things pointing in a better direction

The Dolphins have made it clear they are not going to over pay in FA and some of these FA contracts signings are just not the smart thing to do.

Congratulations on accomplishing that...

Well for what we signed MArshall for we basically could have signed Flynn or Winston so how would that be overpaying esp at bigger positions of need.
