All very good points.

One other thing to note as well though, this year the pressure is more likely to be interior pressure from inconsistent OG's than a skinny pocket from poor OT's. So regardless of whether the hits, hurries and sacks decrease or not, the type of pressure will be different.

Done deal. FWIW, I am not in love with PFF. I very much enjoy your breakdowns on the OL, and well as a number of others here on the team and players. However, PFF does offer much more detail, which comes from watching tape for over 10 hours a game. IF you subscribed to their pay per view site, I believe you would be very impressed as well. JMO

Yeah, that is not in dispute but, 7 were team sacks, as opposed to an individual being responsible for it. These came from mostly blitzes, with defenders being un blocked as there was no one to block them.

I would rather spend that money on rewind instead of relying on the opinion of guys who don't know the play call or the assignment in their analysis....

Taking or giving is a long ways from being determined TD. lol

I don't know if the forum wants to keep track of private bets, as it would be a big PITA (Pain In The Ass). I leave that to Bumpus & Crew.

I have a PFF account...it's a nice thing to have. But I like watching the guys to see why they're bad at certain things. People throwing around Shelley Smith sucks at pass blocking on a limited sample size and after never watching him is a waste of time. Athletic, dynamite run blocker...he can be a solid football player. I just wish people wouldn't say things with such conviction without watching a little bit...I guess that's my issue. If I haven't watched a guy and I've only looked at PFF I try not to be too overly set in my opinion.

If I'm going to spend money on something I would rather it be on game film then some guys who have never coached or played the sports opinion...

I've seen you mention Shelly as this horrible pass blocker....how many rams games have you watched...

just so we are clear, you have two bets. one with FTB and one with myself, for 5k vcash each. Bet is you think miami will have more than 231 pressures in 2014, FTB and myself think less than 231 pressures. and if by some miracle its 231 on the dot, it's a wash? lol
