Ronnie Brown is a top 5 back if you go purely based on stats.

- #2 in the NFL in rushing yards with 369

- #4 in the NFL in yards per game with 92.2

- #3 in the NFL in TDs with 4.

- #1 in the NFL with 21 1st downs.

-#4 in the NFL with 5.1 yards per carry.

Another fun fact! Cameron Wake is in the top #10 for Sacks already

But he's a bust and we weren't suppose to pick him. *rolls eyes* I hate to see what our offense would be without Ronnie Brown. He's Mr. Do it All for our offense.

So you see what happens when you give him some carries !?

I really don't know what to think about ronnie...

this offensive line is trully massive and physical, i really love ronnie but i can't get shaun alexander out of my head, or priest holmes... if you know what i mean

Figuratively speaking.

<-- Ronnie Brown dick rider since he got drafted... what up haterss?

The O-line was not good in 2007 when Ronnie was averaging the same 5.1 yard per carry average. He looked very good and nimble out there before getting hurt.

If he's healthy and you give him the carries, Ronnie will get the yards.

gotta agree with that...

Just keep in mind that we have ran the ball more than any other team in the League.

If you're making a parallel between our current O-line, and that of KC's when Priest Holmes was there and Seattle's when Shaun Alexander was in his prime, I just don't see it. Our line has done well (run blocking), but Ronnie and Ricky have to be given their due for showing great vision and patience.

As a team maybe, but what does have to do with individual stats?

Rk Player Team Pos Att Att/G Yds Avg Yds/G TD Lng 1st 1st% 20+ 40+ FUM
1 Chris Johnson TEN RB 69 17.2 434 6.3 108.5 2 91T 14 20.3 5 2 1
2 Ronnie Brown MIA RB 72 18.0 369 5.1 92.2 4 38 21 29.2 2 0 0
3 Cedric Benson CIN RB 84 21.0 367 4.4 91.8 2 23T 14 16.7 3 0 1
3 Steven Jackson STL RB 83 20.8 367 4.4 91.8 0 58 14 16.9 3 1 1

Those are your top 4 RB's, he is 3 carries ahead CJ and 12/11 carries behind CB and SJ. Seems to be on par around the league with the best.

The beauty is that we also have Ricky Williams, which does wonders for preserving Ronnie's legs as the season goes on.

Just happens that he is our starting Runningback. If we had someone like Manning on the team, would these stats be the same?
