Its 1:33am watching the final act of Hawaii vs. BYU(dont give a damn bout college football(unless it involves the underdawg laying it on the top 25).I look to the TV and see a stat for the Bears/Phins matchup...29% Completions 0TD's 2INT'S for Tannehill under pressure THIS SEASON....long time member(first time poster in a minute....) I see long timers on here using stats for there arguments, posting as "chicken littles" and the sky that will perpetually fall on the phins.....One minute yall expecting to beat the Pats in Foxborough, and in the next moment Tannehill is str8 bust for the debacle last weekend that originated from a back up OT in Sam Young completely imploding our lead(with help from Gase). First and foremost for the stat junkies.....In 2016 Tannehill finished 5th in passer rating(105.6) when under pressure....What I remember most from Tannehill was "the streak" of wins and pass production leading up to injury against the 49ers and that sorry QB with the fro' that apparently "sacrificed" everything....Now for you non stat "users" and "Armchair GM's" I challenge you to simply look at the "highlights" and simply "count" how many times we throw the ball over 10 yards...Then go to the Cardinals game and count how many times we throw 10 yards or more right up to his acl tear....Tannehill is no gunslinger, the Offense is trash because of that "horizontal" "throw/run bullsh**"...That "get 3 yards on a WR SCREEN on 2nd down plus the holding penalty bullsh*t". Im sure ya'll know everything....Im sure you want a "gunslinger". The fault is the dink and dunk sh*t and a head coach in week 6 protecting his QB still, this offense is best with RT's throws downfield and his legs keeping the D honest... LET IT FLY!!!!
