It was an OK day for Osweiler, who finished with 380 yards on 28-of-44 passing with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Gase didn't ask Osweiler to do much. Just eight of Brock's 44 pass attempts went for more than 10 air yards, per Next Gen Stats.

The star of the comeback was receiver Albert Wilson, who took two short tosses to the house. According to Next Gen Stats, Wilson's two touchdowns had an expected yards after catch of nine yards and one yards. The wideout took them to pay dirt for 43 yards and 75 yards, respectively. For the game, the Dolphins compiled 268 yards after catch.

DeVante Parker. He played just four snaps Sunday, but Gase insisted it was not a reflection of his ability, but simply his health.

It’s one of those nagging [injuries]. It’s hard for him to burst the way he wants to,” Gase said.

Defensive ends. Charles Harris didn’t play after hurting his calf on the last play of practice Friday. And his availability for this week’s game against the Lions is in doubt. Gase said Harris is “week-to-week,” which would further deplete a banged up defensive line.

Cameron Wake has missed the last two games with a knee injury that, according to ESPN, needed arthroscopic surgery. Gase would not confirm Wake had a procedure, but is hopeful Miami’s Pro Bowl pass rusher can practice this week.

This year?? How about this week? We need him back asap.

Osweiler was fine, but his numbers are a typical case of conventional stats lying through their teeth. Similar to Tannehill's against the Raiders, actually.

I was wondering about the "this year" comment as well.
And I guess countering everybody's opinion the injury happened during the Bengals game and not as previously assumed during the Raiders game.

Ryan's injury is going to be a couple of weeks. The thing is, we MIGHT be able to pull off the next two games with Brock.

If my math is right, Brocktoberfest had 24 completions that traveled 112 yards through the air total?

Is that how that would be calculated? 380 yards total, 268 yards after the catch?

Don't read too much into that. He was point blank asked if Ryan would play again this year and Gase simply answered yes. If you watch the full PC, he basically explained that Ryan is day to day and will play once he feels better. He said that could be as early as this week, but they don't have a timetable for his return cause it depends on how Ryan feels.

But I thought Gase secretly benched RT and used the injury as an excuse to put his true starter in the game :arghh

No reason for Gase to give out any info this week. Let the Lions prepare for both qb's.

Any news re Bobby McCain's recovery? Torry McTyer was beaten on several big plays by Bears speedsters. We need Bobby back ASAP.

I blame this one on the coaches. I was actually pleasently surprised by McTyer so far the last couple weeks. He has no business being a starter, but man his open field tackling is nice.

He clearly couldn't keep up with Gabriel but our coaches kept leaving him on an island to get burned over and over by the same guy.
