Stats show, Saints do NOT have #5 run D. WildCat to be unleashed with success

The Saints are a little overrated. If they had our schedule they would not be 5-0.

4 of the 5 QB's their defense has faced were Matt Stafford, Kevin Kolb, Snatchez, and Trent Edwards.. not exactly Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan and Phillip Rivers.

And not exactly, Dallas Clark, Tony Gonzalez. Antonio Gates, Vincent Jackson, Malcolm Floyd, Reggie Wayne, Roddy White, Mike Jenkins, Michael Turner , Jerious Norwood.

I wish we played the Lions and Philly without McNabb (even the Raiders beat Philly) instead of going to San Diego on a short week and the Colts.. Or Atlanta in the dome as Atlanta is almost unbeatable in the dome.. You knew whoever was going in there to start the season was going to have a hard time with that crowd on opening day coming off a successful season last year.. I talked about it before the game.

Give the Saints our schedule and the spots we had to play those teams, and the Saints are probably 3-2 right now, not 5-0.

And people here would not be freaking out about their team as they are now.

Hahahaha. That's what people keep telling us. All the Saints can do is play who they are scheduled to play.

This is the NFL btw. Even the worst teams can give the best teams a run for their money. The Saints SMALLEST margin of victory is 14 points against what was a 3-0 team. We are now going into week 7 and the worst the Saints have looked so far is 14 points better than the other team. Get it?

Lol @ overrated. I can only wish that the Dolphin's players are thinking the same thing.

Also, you do realize that your Dolphins only 2 wins came against 2 teams the Saints beat. And since the Saints haven't beat anyone yet then neither has your Dolphins. The only thing the dolphins have show is they can beat bad team but not good teams. And the Dolphins beating the Saints wont prove much because the are overrated anyway. The Dolphins would be 3-3 with the 3 losses against good teams and the 3 wins against poor teams. I wouldn't feel to get about that as a fan.

NOW, imagine if you lose!?!? Well that means the Dolphins are not even close to be competative in the league because they couldn't beat an overrated 6-0 Saints team... right?

Wow, talk about antagonistic. :rolleyes2:

Nobody's trying to say you don't deserve to be 6-0, but throwing stupid run defense stats when their meaningless because teams abandoned the run in your games. We will not abandon the run at any point, every team that you've play has real good yards per carry average. They just got behind and decided to throw to get back in it. We won't do that, we will pound it down your throats all game long. We need to protect Henne and running the ball does that. Once your safeties cheat up then you'll see the passing threat that Henne is. We will run for over 200 yards against you guys and I'm willing to bet that we score around 30 points aswell. The game will be decided on whether our defense can slow you guys down enough to win.

Ask the NYJ's how their statistically strong defense did, they slowed you guys down though didn't they? This will be a good game but R&R will run all day.

Funny how our offense moved the ball easier on them both then what you guys did with that high powered offense yas have down there. How are the Saints fans going to handle it if they manhandled the Giants, but lose to the Dolphins? I am pretty sure we can handle a loss, i mean we are only two seasons removed from 1-15. We gave the Colts all they could handle, and thanks to some bad plays and calls(not refs) we lost. But i bet they wouldn't wanna meet us in the playoffs if we make it.

Just stop. The team they beat last week was better than any team you played so far. They also beat Philly and beat the Jets worse than you guys while you beat Buf worse than they did. Their O is light years better than your O, their D is better than your D, No is a much better team than Miami at this point. Does this ensure a NO win? of course not but to act like you guys have played this amazingly brutal sched while No has played an easy sched is a joke. if NO plays your sched they are 4-1 at worst, MYABE they lose at ATl although Atl wasn't playing well early in the season so I think they'd have beaten them.

Just for a little perspective: Your offense was a push against the Jets, both scoring 10pts. Ours rolled up 31 on them, and that's with their defensive "guru" already having seen what he thought was the WC twice before. The Colts are yielding an avg 14.2 pts/game, we put up 23 against them. Do you really think NO would have contained the Manning scoring machine by keeping them off the field for even 30 minutes?

And if the Saints lose to us? What does would that mean? Don't forget that exactly a year ago, the 5-1 Bills rolled in here with their fans full of bluster, (their only loss being to AZ who ended in the SB), and left with their tails between their legs. As far as their invincibility went, that game was not only a hard dose of reality, but turned out to be the linchpin for their seasonal swoon. Deja vu all over again?

The Colts have played only 1 good offense all year when they held Ari to 10 pts but 2 weeks earlier SF held Ari to 16 so this isn't quite the '08 Ari O just yet. The Giants D was allowing 14 PPG prior to playing NO- they gave up 48.

It's comical for you guys to act like you have played the '85 Bears, '84 Niners and '78 Steelers while NO has played the '96 Jets, '07 Dolphins and '08 Lions.

You are at home, you have a chance but you will have to play the best you have all season. If this was in NO I'd say no chance but at home coming off the thrashing of NYG and w/ Atl on the horizon you can catch them flat in Miami.

I donno about that, i bet the Colts could hand the Giants their arse also.

As for beating the Jets worse, score wise yes. But our offense scored more against your D then the high powered Saints O did. Kinda weird.

Did you just copy and paste win post before our game with you guys, I swear I read this before from you. Funny how you say their offense is light years ahead of ours when you bragged before our game how you held them to 10 points but then get your butts handed to you by our offense and that doesn`t count for anything.

So they throw the ball well we do the same thing as them except it`s with the ground game. Offensive talent is all in perspective, some love the throwing game so any team that throws well is advanced? It doesn`t matter how you get it done as long as you get it done.

Grey is pointing out that their 5th ranked run defense is not really that great when everyone that ran the ball against them carried a high yards per carry average but they just abandoned the run. That just shows how stats don`t always tell the whole story just like your 9ppg garbage that kept getting thrown in all arguements. Just as he pointed out that your defense was nothing really special either and he was right then aswell.

We respect NO, Brees is one of the best if not the best QB in the league but we don`t respect the hype. We will hold our own and have as good a shot at winning this game as any if not more because of our run game.

You really sound bitter nyjunc, I hate to see your posts if Oakland beats you this weekend.

If Sanchez didn't have a rookie QB game and had kept the Jets in the game you might not be 5 -0. The same could be said about the Bills, you beat a team that isn't great but not by much. There is no doubt the Saints will head to the playoff's and more then likely deep into the playoff's but you are flawed in some areas and as the season wears on I am willing to bet the games catch up to you.

Remember those Pats that when undefeated? Well the last five games of the year they had to pull some **** out of there *** to keep that record and as far as I am concerned the Ravens beat them. The more and more tape coaches watch the better at matching the offense the defense becomes. The margin of victory is not going to stay in the 20’s as the season goes on.

You exagerate soooo freaking much on here it is not funny. The week before we beat your butt you were on here saying Dominate D and how we are talking like we are an elite franchise....bla bla bla. Now we are acting like we beat the 85 bears (which we did by the way), the 84 Niners, and the 78 Steelers. Really dude....REALLY? Exageration is one thing, but throwing in comments like this is a sure way to not be taken seriously. I would be mad too if I talked a bunch of crap and then my team got beat, but have some class and stop typing garbage like this.
