All we need is one NE loss to setup a showdown for the AFC East title the last game of the season. NE could easily lose at Denver. We should
be favorites in every game from hear on out except for the Ravens, but they haven't beaten a team with a winning record yet. I like our chances.
Beating a not bad Charger team on the road is huge.

@ jets and @ Bills in December. Are we that ****y after a few wins to where we just think these are cakewalks?

We all should know better by now.

Miami has an interesting schedule loaded with teams that play the type of defense that has given them trouble over the years. Rams, Cardinals, Ravens, Jets, Bills . . . we could be favorite, but that is all that means. Winning would exercise a lot of demons we have had over the years, that is for sure.

I didn't think we would have a winning record after 9 games so why shouldn't I be optimistic. The Cleveland, Tenn, and 49ers are the only games I thought we had a chance to
win at the beginning of the season. The 1-4 start with barely beating Cleveland looked like my original prediction.

Your scenario pretty much suggests that you believe we are going to go on a 10 game win streak, undermining all these other teams we have to play before we can even set up that scenario. It can happen, but why look so far ahead? We have a road game next week against a team with a pretty damn good defense, a type of defense that tends to give us fits over the years. You look ahead, you enjoy what is in front of you less and are more disappointed if what you envision does not happen.

Enjoy the ride to get there is all I am saying.

One four game win streak and suddenly expectations that we won't lose another game?! Wth. Lol. Stop. This is the NFL. A parity driven league. It's just not likely. We're not blowing teams out, we're eking out victories. Just enjoy the ride and hope for the best. We're not even close to the point that we can casually overlook division road games as gimmes. Not even close.

Man. Miami has one more win than losses and the Patriots lose and everyone starts having delusions of grandeur. I want whatever you guys are taking.

if we lose one game the same people will want Gase fired - again

Anyone who watched that game last night has to realize that we were extremely lucky to get out of Seattle with the score as close as we did. Look at the way they were clicking last night, not even close to the same team they were when we lined up Week 1. Look at the way New England is back in stride like their typical self. They don't lose many at home unless its to a really disciplined team and that's exactally what happoened. After seeing all that, you really believe that the team we watched today barely beat the referees and generate one score off of 4 turnovers is capable of beating either team on the field last night and take a division?????

We cannot be composted to the Patriots right now. They may have lost last night, but there is no comparison of talent there.

I think we're a pretty good team but not taking down the Patriots. We'd need to see HUGE improvement in the back 7 for me to believe that.

It cracks me up when posters get so up in arms about fans having an optimistic outlook. Woah...pull the reigns back...one game at a time. LOL. You do realize that we have ZERO control in what happens on the field and in the locker room right? Thank goodness we have you guys to limit our happiness and keep us in check.

Why shouldn't you be optimistic? You're a Dolphin fan for one. The only type of optimism you should allow in your life is cautious.

Listen everyone.... All we have to do is win Fl, NC and OH and take one blue state from...... Oh wait...... That was the other underdog on Tuesday.

STRANGER THINGS HAVE JUST HAPPENED!! We are 2 games out with 7 to play. Anything is possible. Now, for the record..... I didn't say "PROBABLE" I said "POSSIBLE".

Have a nice day.
