Although he's a Pro Bowl guard, a team captain and a sound conversationalist, Alan Faneca is not used to the kind of crowd he found around his locker yesterday. It included an ESPN network crew sent specifically to flesh out the reason behind his comment Monday about Roethlisberger starting for the injured Maddox. Asked then if it was exciting to see a rookie play quarterback, Faneca answered in disbelief. "Exciting? No, it's not exciting. Do you want to go work with some little young kid who's just out of college?"
