Was it really necessary for Hines Ward to get up put a huge smile on his big azz head and flex his bicep every time he catches the ball. He cathes the ball for 4 yards and a first down and has to do that like he made some amazing catch or something. At the end of the game one of Pitts defenders does the same thing. He makes a tackle and stands up and flexes both biceps, then like a good 20 seconds go by and he does it again. Only because Pitt clearly had the game won was he doing this. The second time he did that for the same measly tackle he should of been flagged for taunting. That stuff had me so annoyed, I miss the days of only celebrating after TD or a game changing play. Not after every damn play that is made.
 
many times they should have been flagged for "taunting" or whatever, even the announcers were pointing that out =(
 
I think all celebrating should be done after the game is over.
 
Hines ward dident bother me, what bothered me is when porter did daunte's "roll"
 
when you win you can dance, it sucks to be on the other side but hopefully we can dance alittle in a week, i just hope the refs are consistent
 
Come on guys. Its football. You are pissed because we lost. They are happy because they won. If our players did that, and got flagged, you'd say WTF!!!
 
hines ward did make one nice catch for like 5 yards where he got absolutely smacked, but held onto the ball. porter is lame tho, kissing his coach? wtf?
 
Yeah Im pissed cause we lost but at the same time everytime a guy makes a catch or a tackle I dont need to see someone flexing their muscles.
 
The only one that bothered me was Porter, I didn't see any reason for that one. It's funny though because just the day before the head ref was on NFL access and said that they were going to be strict this year on any kind of celebrating after a play, and the first game, nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the celebrating when you make a nice hit, or nice play, just funny that they went out of their way to point out that it was going to be enforeced, then didnt.

Not to me, i doubt ray lewis liked it when t.o. did his celebration last year.
 
when porter did the roll after he sacked culpepper and thenacted as if he kicked it out of the stadium really pissed me off..
 
If Daunte is going to do the roll after he throws for a TD, than I guess Porter can do it when he makes a big play. The tauntung after the hit on McMichale was the only thing that struck be as really wrong.

I did lose a lot of respect for the Steelers as a team though.
