Steelers Want to Trade Dixon

No thanks. His ceiling is David Garrard, which I guess is better than what we have... but let's stop trying to go cheap on looking for a franchise QB and invest a first rounder for once..
 
I watched him play a lot at Oregon as I watch a lot of Pac-10 games. He was a very good QB for Oregon. I remember him tearing his ACL against ASU, my alma mater, and I think he has injured his knee a couple times more since this in the pro's. I would pass on him just because I think there are better option out there.

pass. If cut id be interested to bring in to camp maybe over a Brandister or Devlin but thats it

Just because the way Andy Reed bamboozled the Bidwells turned out to be as easy as what the Dutch did to the Island of Manhattan Indians - teams like GB and Pittsb are thinking there's no better time than now to convert their unproven, questionable and spotty mid-low round drafted backup QB trinkets, that might glitter from afar, into overflowing buckets of April gold. Please NFL owners and GMs, stop enabling this larceny.

Maybe we should have signed Thiggy after all and held him out as trade bait for a 2nd and a starting offensive lineman, ya think?

 
Tonight will go a long way in determining our QB future. If Hene stinks, Moore will be starting by next week and we might be looking to add a QB to the roster. Because if Henne is terrible again, he won't be on this team much longer.

Henne is on the fast track to being Matt Leinert. Out of this league. Henne better play well and quick!!! The clock is tickin
 
I saw another thread like this. If you are going to trade for a QB, you better hope he is better than what we have. We do not know that.
