Not that it matters at this point, but considering our weaknesses at the Oline position and this CHEAP 1yr deal I cant see how we didn't bring this guy in to at least compete with Thomas and Turner? Not sure how good he would be a guard, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have him come in and push the two young guards and worst case you have a proven vet for back up C and G for only $2.5.:err:

Same reason every team in the league is hesitant ... he is still injured and rehabbing. He is a solid center but we made Pouncey the highest paid center in the NFL ... and he isn't quit as good at guard even if h was healthy.

He has been a guard in the nfl.was an all rookie guard
He can play both positionfairly well. Better guard than we have on roster

a lot of teams passed on him at that price, he had like 7 visits... that would worry me
