Steve Ross responds to ProFootballTalk report directly

I am glad Ross finally balled up. Miami is getting bombed like Britain in WWII by the media right now and the front office needs to be united all the way from the owner down to the coaching staff. The rest will fall into place. I don't care what they do as a staff just as long as they are united in their message and Ross calling Florio's bluff is just what the team needed at this point. All this speculation and horse**** needs to stop and the only way it is going to stop is with Miami as an organization standing up and saying **** off when the time is right.

Florio deserved a direct response from Ross.

agreed.i love the fact that ross went straigt to th eman and put his foot down.

There are enough people on this site to organize a public slandering of that hack Mike Florio. It's ridiculous the amount of influence that scumbag has, and he gets our owner to personally respond? Only for Florio to leave another sarcastic jab at the end.

with that being said, ireland probably feels pretty confident in his decastro pick in three days than....

That’s why last night’s report by ProFootballTalk.com founder Mike Florio, which claimed that Ross is pushing for, if not demanding Miami select Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill, reeked of misinformation (which is common during draft week), and more importantly, character assassination.

I think it's just Florio being his typical Dolphin hating-self, taking every opportunity to bash the team, owner, F.O ... I refuse to read any article he writes.

Probably one of the few times I've seen Ross in the news where I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

If so, I hope DeCastro can block a tackle and two safties on every running play when the D has 9 men in the box.

Well he shot that down. He's been pretty defensive the past few months.
I'm sure I would be too if people kept attacking my character, my franchise and my employees (even if some of them may not be very good).

NFLN will be in 12 war rooms this draft and Miami is one of them...of course being in a war room is very loose terminology for just showing video, no sound and you won't see the draft board. Only thing you can gather from that is when they're on the phone and reactions prior to and after a pick.
