Steve Smith best receiver in the NFL

I want their receivers coach.

Why? It's not like Colbert, Carter, and the rest have really developed. Sometimes it's just one guy's determination to improve.

CC is the best in the LEAGUE!!! If DELHOMME, PLUMMER, MANNING, ROTHESBERGER, PALMER, HASSLEBACK, BREES, GREEN or others were throwing to this kid, he would be lights out!!!

CALL ME A HOMER!!!!:D

homer.....and on second note his touchdowns were single coverage wen the defender fell down

Because they can't cover him. The Bears were the best defensive team this year and they knew Carolina was going to him 1st game 12 or 14 catches they couldn't stop what they knew was coming Steve Smith single handily beat the Bears.

No way to get around it. He dominated.

Forget TO, Marvin Haririson, Moss, etc. Steve Smith is flat out the best in the game. The Bears can't stop him.

I definately agree. He is my favorite WR in the league now. :)

BTW, anyone know where I could get Carolina Panthers 2005 Highlights so I can make a video of him?

Why do I have a feeling that Steeve Smith is going to shatter playoff recieving records against Seattle?

i agree.the number 1 defense and he has his best game of the year.i also think delhomme needs some more respect

What's so sick about Smith, is that he's not only your typical small guy with his speed, agility, acceleration, but he's also very strong on his leg and very tought to bring down, you put a great pair of hands on top of that and you got the best WR right now.

I agree Roman

Not only does he go up and pull the ball away from the defender but then he is unreal running with it....he takes a 20 yarder and turns it into an 80 yarder....he killed our d-backs a bunch of times when we played (Although Reggie Howard is not pro bowl material). Wish he was a FA, but maybe we can Wayne from the Colts. :)

Urlacher said he thought Smitty was the best offensive player PERIOD in the NFL. It amazes me that teams know it's coming, but they can't stop it. I got him in the 8th round of my fantasy draft this year and I'm smiling all the way to the bank.

Hey, at least now he's just kicking the other teams' a$$e$ , not like in 2002- "He's also had problems off the field, receiving a one-game suspension last month for beating up teammate Anthony Bright during a film session -- an assault that was so bad, Bright was hospitalized two days and filed charges against Smith."
