stewart scotts dolphin diss......

I hate it when I have to listen to Stewart Scott. He actually made love to himslef yesterday saying that he went out and worked out in honor of Jerry Rice. What an embarrassment to Jerry Rice.

Who cares. Really. This is such a non-story. Guy can't joke around??

Here's what's really gonna make your world implode: Stuart Scott is a self-proclaimed Dolphins fan. He'd love to see us do well.

Bro .......seriously, you guys need to get over it..........who cares. You act like it's some big surprise that the second worse team in football last year would get ribbed.

wow, I think for the first time ever enigmatics and I agree on something.

A lot of people on here get way too riled up over this kind of junk. We sucked last year and sportscasters are obviously going to take shots. In addition they are just jokes anyway.

My god political correctness is even going to take over comments on sports teams next!

I can see the press release now:

We at Finheaven find the term "losing season" derogatory, demeaning, and discriminatory to the Dolphins organization. We hereby request the media use the word "challenged" instead of "losing":shakeno:

Having a sense of humor is a good thing, some of you should try a little.

thats what i was going to say

Don't even sweat it... These are only opinions.. And opinions are like A... holes everyone has one. :D

As stated by others until the Dolphins prove them wrong you will continually here these statements. Just think what the Seahawks, Cardinals, Browns, Saints, fans have to go through year after year. The Dolphins are a class franchise and they will be back!!!!!

Dont know if anyone else saw this but on the monday night countdown show,Stewart Scott made a huge **** talking statement...they were predicting the super bowl winners and then after they all had their choice .. he said but hey ... it could be the dolphins versus the bears and laughed his *** off!!!!Infering that the dolphins and the bears were the two worst teams and the longest shots to make it ! talk about kicking a team when they are down! I used to like stewie but he just made a huge dinkle home skillet manuever...what a arse wipe.

Please stop circumventing the profanity filter... it's there for a reason.

Yeah man, lighten up. Learn how to take a few shots, it's going to happen. BTW, what did happen to dudes eye?

Well, lets see...

1) Our starting QB is a career backup, who's history is to not be able to put more than 2-3 good games together at a time. Our backups are inexperienced.
2) Our OL is, at best, weak. No personnel changes from last years line that was HORRIBLE...
3) Our #1 and #2 WRs are ok to good. Our #3 WR hasn't played in nearly 3 years. Has potential but hasn't shown it yet, except a few nice receptions in the preseason.
4) Our starting RB is a rookie...albeit a high round pick and should do well, but still a rookie.
5) Our offense is running a completely different scheme than the past 8 years. It is a vertical passing attack without a strong QB.
6) Our DL has only one returning starter. Carter is a slight upgrade over Chester. Holliday can be better than Bowens. Traylor is not better than Timbo (when healthy) due to his age. Will JT adjust well to the new scheme ??
7) We are starting a rookie OLB vs. a 4 year starter. Now, Crowder, IMO will be better than Greenwood was, but he's still a rookie. We do, however, have stronger backup LBs than last year. How will ZT adjust to the new scheme ?? Can he take on the blockers and fill the run gaps like Saban's LBs are supposed to ?? How will the extra hitting affect his health as the season goes on ??
8) Secondary...what can I say...Our only returning starter (Madison) was arguably our weak link in last years' secondary. He is more vulnerable in Saban's D. It plays to his weaknesses. He is a year older. Can his knees take it ?? Daniels looks good, but again, another rookie starting, he'll get picked on. Jones has a known weakness in pass coverage. While his weaknesses fit better into Saban's D, it's still a question. Bell...can he stay healthy ?? He is, in effect, also a rookie starting...
9) Mare is coming off a second straight less-than-stellar season. Can he regain his form again ??
10) We play in the toughest division in the league. The Pats are the champs until they get knocked off. The Jests were in the p/os last year and at least improved their kicking game in the offseason. The Jills won their last 6 or 7 games until faultering at the very end. They have a beast of a defense, a good running game and experienced WRs...

Now, does Stewart Scott putting down the Fins seem to be so far fetched ?? We stunk the joint up last year, but have made improvements....Is it going to be enough ?? We are so used to being in contention every year, that some of us can't accept the fact that we just aren't that good a team right now. Will we be better than last year, yeah..I feel we will but will we be knocking on the doors of the Patsies, Jests or Jills....no....We can we make some noise during the season depending on how many of those 10 items listed above improve...

Are receivers are very talented. Great rb group. The line will probably be average at best by mid season, I don't know about weak, it already looks better than last year's. Good front seven. It's how some of these guys are coached, yeah it's practically the same guys on the o-line last year except Carey, but they are actually blocking this year. They're going to need time to gel. I wish there was another center to take McKinney's spot, I think that will be the weakest spot on the line.

How the hell do you guys handle the smack that the Jets/Bills/Pats fans throw at you if you can't handle Stuart Scott & the rest of his ESPN buddies??? Get over it & toughen up!

My favorite food is fried chicken. If the Dolphins and the Bears make the superbowl I will give up fried chicken and Beer for the rest of my life.

Well, I am not reading three pages of this. However, I have to say, Stuart scott's two favorite teams in order are:

Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins. He has admitted as much before. He said it broke his heart to see his Bears miss going undeafeted by one game but if they had to lose, at least it was to the other team he roots for.

You folks are a little too sensitive. At least he mentioned the fins in the same sentence as the Super Bowl, even if it was in jest.
