i dont think jay would do much better, hes seriously hit EVERY play, im sorry but that would rattle even the best qbs to get rid of it quicker or wihtout fully thinking... im not sticking up for AJ but cmon its not all his fault, i mean i dont hear anyone ****ting on gordon/henry for the 2.0 ypc average, cause obviously the offensive line is the major problem... but whtas switching to fielder gonna do now? maybe win us an extra 1-2 games? keep feeley, let him learn, let him gel let the unit get out of this rut together and maybe ha ve a future...

Yeah...there's no point in winning 2 or 3 meaningless games...We're gonna make our draft picks worse.

why aren't people ragging on the running game? it's hard to run with 9 in the box. nobody respects this bum feeley. that's why they blitz the hell out of him-b/c they know that he can't be them. until he proves that he can make teams pay for blitzing him, he will continue to be put on his arse, and i don't think he will prove it.

Jay could do a lot better then Feeley has. I mean a lot better. Jay will give us 17...............at least!!

The original poster is right.....switching to Jay might win us one or two games this year....BFD....we don't need to win one or two games....we need an offensive line that's not going to get whoever plays behind them killed on every snap.

Feeley DID NOT look this bad when he had good coaching and good blocking in Philly.

let's look back at that 2002 season. feeley went 4-1, threw 6 tds and 5 picks. in the 5 teams they played, the skins, cowboys, rams, and seahawks were already eliminated. the giants had to win their last game to get in, and feeley threw a critical pick in ot that led to the game winning field goal. his finishing stat line was 6 tds, 5 picks, and 55%, and 1 of those tds came in garbage time vs the 49ers after detmer got hurt. does his performance still look good?

They Blitz because they know we have quite possibly the worst O line to ever play the game...thats the fact Jack. They Blitz because we have the worst coaching staff in the NFL.

He looked a LOT better than what he does now.

good point. We have no choice but to give him a chance for a couple reasons. The price we paid was so high that we have to let him prove himself. We get nothing for him if we take him out now. No team will want him. He's worthless to anyone right now. Lets see what he can do over time. He can only get better right? Then at least his stock will rise as far as a return pick if we want to move him. And best case senario, he turns in to the stud we all are praying for.

Feeley is in no way better than Fiedler. We are 0-3. Yes bad, but not out of playoff contention. Get past Jets,Pats and it will get easier.

Yeah seriously... if our coaches had half a brain, they would have done more rollouts or screen passes. THOSE are the things that beat the blitz.

Feeley will have his lumps, but he is still going to be better than Jay. Everyone seems to forget how bad Jay looked the first game. He would not play better with the way this line is blocking.

I just hope he doesn't get destroyed physically and mentally playing behind this O-line, for this coaching staff.
I really feel for the guy.....He's trying to dig through a mountain with a spoon.

Let's not be hasty, AJ is a 'rookie' not a 'bum/Feidler'.

By all means, start Fiedler. When he is broken in half after the first full game, at least it will put this stupid controversy to bed. ANYONE looking at the QB situation as the problem just doesn't understand the game. THIS WILL BE A LOSING SEASON! At least take this opportunity to fully evaluate talent before next year. If we don't, we will re-sign more crappy players back because we failed to take enough time to elliminate doubts about their true potential.

Feeley is leaps and bounds better the Jay. It's completely, entirely unfair to judge him under the present circumstances. Jay would not be doing mush better. In fact, he had his chance and THAT'S WHY HE'S ON THE BENCH TO BEGIN WITH!!

HAHA, if Jay was better, he'd be playing. Even his bed buddy Dave knows AJ is better. He just needs better play calling, shotgun and some decent, timely blocking along with a healthy Konrad.
