Well, I made it home in one piece. Where I was sitting it was about 99% Eagles fans, but inside by the food courts (club level) and outside I did see a lot of Dolphins jerseys. I neither saw nor heard anyone being nasty to Dolphins fans, although there were a few comments made in jest. I did notice that a lot of Philly fans were getting upset with their team near the end of the game. It was as if they were too busy being angry at the Eagles (and the refs) to take out their frustration on Miami fans.
As for being at my first game, I must say that it was a completely alien experience to someone who has only seen the games on TV. Our club seats were at the 50 yard line, and I had a great view of the entire field. However, even with a good view I missed quite a few plays. If I missed something on the field (or wanted another look) I'd glance at the big screen to watch the replay, but by the time I looked back at the field the next play had already started. D'oh! On TV, it may be hard to judge the distance between players due to the camera angles. At the stadium, I had a different perspective since I was looking down, and I was able to see how wide open some the players actually were (especially Eagles TEs). At home, you only see what the network cameras show you, and then on replays you may see the play from a few different angles. Live, it's hard to choose where to look; if I pay attention to the o-line's blocking, then I might miss a nice catch downfield. Watching a play on the field from my seat was so different from seeing the same play on the big screen... it was weird!
