Still almost 30 million in Cap.

Cj2k, DRC, would look at Revis just for the fact talib just got signed & Pats are probably going to go all out for Revis now.

Whcih means they have to trade for him correct? Then pay him that huge salary. good luck with that! lol

With all this cap left I still don't know what the hell Miami is doing.

Why hey structure deal that way of you don't have any more big signings. Doesn't make sense IMO.

because it's not really 30 mil. it includes 18 mil in rollover that is good for 2014 but does not apply to 2015. even if the cap goes up to 140 mil in 2015, if the fins spend all their cap space now they will be over the 2015 cap.

Revis 3 years 27.5 lets do it

Lmao revis at 8 mil a year... Wake up, grimes just got 8 mil. Revis wants 13-14 per season atleast. Maybe 2 year 27 mil but that's only if revis is feeling cheap.

I refuse to pay 13 million a year for a CB, there is no way you are going to get value out of that. Our secondary wasn't even the problem last year, it was linebacker coverage and stopping the run. Revis doesn't really help either of those. I would rather dump that money into a MLB and move Ellerbe to the outside and cut Wheeler.

That's actually 9.16 mil a year, but who's counting? ;)

Aponte is one part of the old Front Office staff that I trust. She has proven she is a good salary cap manager.

This. She IS the best, not even close, at what she does in the NFL. The way she handles negotiations and the language of deals is aw-inspiring. She is all about the details, much like Joe Philbin. Which is why success with these two and now hickey is all but imminent. Get ready boys!

I'm just worried about losing on a good RT because they seem to be going. Raiders are signing Howard and the Jets are going to bring in Giacomini for a visit. I'd rather not rely on the draft for a tackle. Guards yes, but not a tackle.

I'm with ya there. We need so much on the OL, picking up at least 2 quality starters from FA for it is a must. The longer we wait, the harder it will be to find that quality we so desperately need.

I don't think there is much demand for Starks (age) or Patterson (health) so i'd try to resign those two on the cheap. Odrick , Mitchell and Starks would be a nice rotation. Patterson starts until the rookie is ready then moves inside. Draft a MLB like Mosley early and that's a formidable defense if you asked me.
