CINCINNATI (AP) — The Cincinnati Bengals have signed free agent cornerback Jamar Fletcher, a ninth-year NFL veteran.

He made two starts and had 21 tackles, defended three passes, recovered a fumble and made two special teams tackles.
His former Bengals contract expired after the 2008 season. The team announced Fletcher's acquisition Sunday.
Fletcher entered the NFL in 2001 as a first-round draft choice (26th overall) by Miami.
He has 105 career games, having also played for San Diego, Detroit and Houston. His career totals include 176 tackles, 32 passes defended and seven interceptions.
