Still Pissed

Bottom line...the Buffalo game was a killer. I am still sick over it. Plus, I threw couch cushions across my living room after storming out of my Man Cave. Brutal loss.

Mostly, Im ****ing tired of losing to the sorry ass Bills and the ****ing Jests.

There is really no excuse for losing to these teams, especially the Bills. Both of those teams suck. The Bills basically blow beyond all belief and have done so on the regular. For years and years they are finishing either 3rd or last in the division. If we want to establish ourselves as a factor in the AFC, we have to sweep them almost every year.

Baltimore .... Buffalo .... Tampa Bay. All have killed us this year. These games we should have one and good teams do win. We could easily be sitting at 10-3 tied with NE for the division. IMO this was the year we could have won many games because of how weak the AFC is. But because we lost those 3 we are showing what we really are .... 500 at best.

Actually, we still have a chance to go 10-6. 10-6 is 2 games over .500. So uhm, no. We are not .500 at best.

The bucs game bothers me because they were defeated at that point.. An 0-8 team and we let them come in and beat us bad. No heart that day.

We'll handle our business. I fell like this team is beginning to get hot at the right moment and the Pats are vulnerable. Imagine if that Pats lost out. Not likely but man oh man. He have a really slim opportunity to get the 2nd seed. This team has a certain mojo to it I haven't seen in a long time.

Those 4 losses by 4 points really screwed us...not to mention the collapse to the Pats. This team would be so good if it could've finished games.

Baltimore game was BS with those two pass interference calls. But you guys need to go watch the second half of the New England game to get really pissed off. There were 4 terrible calls including the infamous forward batting of the ball call.

That's the only game I didn't get see as I was driving back from the FSU vs Miami game. I saw almost all of the bills game on the way back from the FSU vs Clemson game, but my laptop died at like 4 mins left, and I see that ridiculous espn game cast say Mario Williams sack fumble recovered by buffalo, and I'm like there it is. Dan carpenters going to hit the game winner lol

The pass interference call on Jimmy Wilson in the New England game was absolutely ridiculous and if I'm Joe Philbin I let this officiating crew know from start to finish that they'd better damn sure get that call right because holy ****, what a screwjob that was.

I think we've had more phantom PIs called against us this year than legitimate PIs called in our favor. The funny thing is in both instances the flag came from an official not assigned to that wr from about 70 yards away. In both instances the commentators made a point to say you don't usually see a flag come from there on a PI...

I'm pissed off from seeing more irrelevant threads about placing blame on anything outside our locker room. (Besides the fat girl... Jennifer Martin, er something like that)

I agree and Steve Ross needs to be calling Goodell on Mondays after these types of losses and chewing him out. Letting him know that this type of bias won't be tolerated.
Most of you are too young to remember the ongoing feud (and lawsuits) between Al Davis and the NFL. Most of it had to do with moving the team from Oakland to LA (and back), but he wasn't a constant headache for Rozelle.
If Goodell wants to be Kraft's lap dog, then make it uncomfortable for him.

 I was getting ready to thumbs up your post until I see you blame that loss on the coaching staff.

I dont understand all the fuss about losing to Baltimore. Yea, we shouldve won that game, but the one that is killing us the most is the Bills game. It is clearly the easiest game we have lost, while also being the one we were closest to winning of all of the ones we lost. On top of that it was the most significant because it was a divisional game.

That is the game Im still pissed about. And that was a game Tannehill basically lost. The pick 6 was horrible and the redzone INT might have been his worst decision AND throw of the season. That game is a killer.
.

I have no problem with being aggressive and calling a pass play in that situation but you can be sure if we did call a pass it would be the safest one in the playbook. The problem with our QB changing the play to a pass is he puts way too much pressure on the o-line to win one on one battles so if he's going to do it he sure as **** better understand the situation and get the ball out fast and not turn it over. It was like the ultimate anti-Brady move: time to put the team on back.....****!

He pulled the exact same stunt in his first Jets game in OT.

To be fair though I think this coaching staff is more concerned with grooming him for 3-4 years down the road than short term wins, which may be a mistake that costs them their jobs, but if it works out that loss to Buffalo this season or the loss to the Jets last season won't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

I'm drunk and after reading a few of these playoff race posts, it just pissed me off that we lost to Baltimore. The refs handed the game to the ravens on a silver platter. They had a whole drive that produced a td because of the fu**** zebras. End of rant
The Dolphins didn't do themselves any favors either by spiking the ball and wasting a down, then taking a sack while in field goal range.

Well the staff came out and said they called a run on that play and Tannehill changed it to a pass so if you want to hate on somebody for being an idiot hate on our QB.

What killed this team this year was the worst o-line play in franchise history and if we get to 10 wins somehow Philbin should be in the running for coach of the year.

alright roy! your coming around! and I agree. OL and Sherman not fixing the situation with more TE use.
