We got an extremely young team at many key positions.

This offense was built on pennington. Next year we will have
a regular NFL offense with deep threats.

Nfls toughest schedule and minus some dropped balls and bad calls
we played with the best of them.

Team either finishes tough or starts on fire. This will turn into
the full game scenerio soon. Real soon.

Love the fins and the things they can do. We got a true powerhouse
built for a dynasty. This year we win 5+ games more with either
one true number one reciever
one ball hawk safety
one fast dominant MLB
less bad play calling
less shooting ourselves in foot
less bad officiating

and we got a superbowl.

We are what we are...a .500 team
and I'll have what your having:err:

I agree that the team has some good young players, and lots of potential. I think we can all see the glaring problems, and I would think these will be addressed. I believe there are a lot of reasons to be optimistic about next year and beyond. No excuses, we still have a long way to go.

You are so right. The phins have a ton of potential. A young QB who has to only get better. Fill in a few missing pieces on offense and defense and they go from a pretty good team to a very good team. IMO, while the wildcat is great at times, it does take away any momentum from the regular offense. They got too many packages on offense where they themselves don't know who to use. The bias in me feel they use BESS far too little esp. in the redzone.

Agreed.

I was not proud of them the first half. Absolutely pathetic. I had to listen to the game and the crew was disgusted. They commented numerous times about the lack of effort.I am however optamistic about the future.

i love blind posts like this...do you actually watch any other teams play? this team is way down on athleticism and talent - aka playmakers - and a long way from contending for a superbowl my friend...

Losers have potential. Winners have production. But yes, there are bright spots on the team but there's no guarantee that they will translate to wins unless all the players on the team, not just the ones who are the goats on boards like these, can pull their heads from their behinds and play 4 quarters of football when it actually matters.

Last years team wasn't always in the lead down the stretch but they gritted down and found a way to get the job done. This team comes close but they dig themselves too big of a hole and then doesn't seem to believe in their ability to actually get out of it even if they have worked their way back.

If you were right, I would agree with you.

What do you proud of??
You seem to confuse between and love.
I am not proud of 0-3 start.
I am not proud of certain players keep making mistakes.
I am not proud of our HC keep making bone head calls and reduced our chance to win.

Let me break it down for you...It is like a son of your, he disappointed you, can not keep a job, always get in trouble...

Do you still love him...sure, proud of him...hell no.
I still love my Dolphins, proud of it...hell no.

This team dropped to the Bills. This team fell to the Titans in a game where they didn't show in the first half. They repeated that in the first half against the Texans. I can't be proud of a team with no pride themselves. JT is on the sideline down 27 points in the first half screaming at his secondary because they can't get into it.

This team has potential, but is at least two seasons from really competing. For every "young" player with "potential", there is at least one veteran far past his prime. I had pride last year. This year, no.

^ and they just barely beat the Bucs by their chinny chin chin

It still does not excuse the Dolphins in almost losing to an awful team with only one win at the time.

Give it up, the Dolphins just don't have it this year. They have a long way to go.
