ESPN's power rankings are a joke. Luckily John Clayton doesn't have any say over who gets the Lombardi trophy
 
I guess the Jet fans are right, they are better than us, they just had a bad game... they 'outplayed' and out-rank us...... :lol:
 
They must all be listening to Rex Ryan talk and not watching how his team performs.
 
I'd rank you ahead of us since our records are close and you swept us but a sweep doesn't always mean that team is better. It may be justa good match up for you. For example, we swept you in 2000 and I don't think we were the better team. I think the better team this year is TBD though you have the edge w/ the sweep.
 
the dolphins are 3-4.. im not going to complain about there "Power Ranking" why should they deserve better than #20, the jets have a lot of good players so they should be right around #15 anyways..

beaten once, negligible, beaten twice, its worth considering, beaten a third time when we didnt need our offense to do more than gain 104 yds? i think its a fair statement...


ya know what, now that I say that, im changing my perspective, it's not that our offense could only put up 104yds on offense, its that thats all we had to put up... we didn't need anymore to beat the stinken jets. thats how much better we are than them....
 
Whoever came up with Power Rankings has to be the biggest tool in the world. All that matters at the end of the day is who has more Ws and gets in the playoffs. Last year the Bills, Pats and Jets where ahead of us in these stupid things but only we made the playoffs.

If I made a power ranking I would put the Lions as the #1 team everytime beacuse the rankings are a joke and a waste of time.

Last I checked we only played 2 times this season and the fact that you barely beat us despite scoring 3 non-offensive TDs tells you the win was a bit fluky. That's ok, you take wins anyway you can get them but let's not act like you guys dominated us.
 
they're just f u c k i n g stupid over there. miami has beaten the jets 3 straight times, and really just a favre fluke prayer pass away from 4 straight. somehow, they think the jets are better. lol wut.
 
I will be a Jet fan on November 22nd.

I have to admit though, Rex Ryan and Bart Scott are making it very hard for me to root for them even the 2 times a year they play the Patriots.

As for the power rankings - Who cares? This isnt college ball, rankings don't mean ****. Win games and get to the playoffs, thats all that matters.

well to explain it out, we have three in a row, last game of last year, both this year. (maybe last years win isn't relevant, but im going to include it anyway.) and yes, we will take the wins anyway we can, i didnt say we dominated the game, i just said we didnt have to bother the offense to wake up, because os st decided to take it on their shoulders. (see what im doing here? im not going to stop wording things this way, its just way more fun to look at it like i am.)
