there is still a big chance for us to win this divison, i can feel it. if we win the next 2, with will be easy in the jets and the titans, and NE loss the next two, i think tampa will have no problem but we have to take it easy on the jets so they can go in healthy against NE, the last game of the season could be for the divison. i noit is a big if but the chance is still there.

now i dont no about u but i believe
 
The problem is that the Patriots are getting healthy as a team as we speak. Tampa Bay better have a lot to play for next week.

If we win our next 2 and the pats lose one of their next 2 we go into their stadium and play for a tie at 9-7. How does the tie breaker work?

If they lose 2 and we win 2 we go in there with a chance to win it out right at 9-7. I just don't see them losing to the Jets.

They have to lose out and we have to win out, it's the only way in at this point. Weirder things have happened, but not to the Pats in a long time.

Their magic number is 1. Any pat win/Phins loss :( combo and we're out.

That just means its about time for it to happen!! Can you believe we're talking about winning out in December?

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION
If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs
1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
5. Strength of victory.
6. Strength of schedule.
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9. Best net points in common games.
10. Best net points in all games.
11. Best net touchdowns in all games.

It would be fantastic, don't get me wrong, but you have to be realistic. I just don't think we can pull off a 6 game winning streak and expect New England to lose 3 in a row. That's what it will take with the Conference/Division records. If we tie New England at the end of the regular season, they'll still win the division. I will say this though...if we do win out the rest of the season, it'll be a moral victory that'll carry over to next season...then watch out...WE'RE BACK!!!!!!!!
 
i dont care wat anyone says it is very possible especially with finally getting takin out with an injury, if he cant go the chances just got better.
i believe
 
The most important thing out of all of this is we need to care of our business and win our remaining games. We can't control anything else.
 
the players know this. they are most likely just looking for revenge on the jets after that first game where they came out flat but almost put one together.
 
I think we can win out but if the Pats end up at 9-7 with us they win with the better divison record so if we lose or they win any of the next 3 games we are out.
