You guys did notice the Broncos do have 2 games left vs. the Chiefs as well as one more vs. the Raiders. And while those arent 3 guarenteed wins, its pretty close to it. Their other 2 games arent guarenteed losses either. They play the Colts and the Eagles. Really, Im not so sure the Eagles are all that good to begin with.

The point is the Broncos just moved to 7-4. It looks as though they should win at least 3 more games with that schedule.

This was a crippling outcome tonight. The Chargers should win at least 10 games themselves, plus they own the tiebreak on us. We would own a tiebreak on the Broncos should they beat the Eagles(would make them 3-1 vs. the NFC), but if they beat the Eagles, they may get to 11 wins so it wouldnt help us. If we get to 11, we most likely win the division.

The point is, it sure would help right now if Brandon Stokley hadnt pulled that play out of his *** to beat the Bungles in week 1. It is causing us problems right now.

If we win out we don't have to worry about the damn Broncos.....I get sick of hearing about them 24/7 here in Colorado.

To enter the playoofs as a wildcard we will have to win all our remaining games outside of NE. That Pitts game will end up being huge possibly deciding the playoffs for either team.

Let's just win out and take the division and be the hottest team in the AFC entering the playoffs!!!

I saw that at the end of the game. I'd call 4 wins for the Broncos which will put them in leaving one WC spot only. The Colts is the only game they may not win. They have to travel to Philly and even though the Eagles suck (actually the NFC East is over rated), they may win.

Obviously if the Saints win against NE and we win out we are in, but we damn sure better beat Jacksonville, Houston and Pittsburgh to have a shot at a WC if we can't catch NE.

I have a feeling the Broncos peaked tonight. They needed somebody to whip up on to get them feeling right about themselves again, and the rather lethargic Giants rolled into town. I don't think they can beat Indy anywhere, and I doubt they can beat Philly in Philly. But our poor start is really coming back to bite us now.

I still firmly believe that if we win against the Pats and Bills we will win the division.

There is a reason why teams that start 0-3 have only a 2% chance of making the playoffs. That is a fact I read on NFL.com when we were at 0-3.

It's a very big hole to crawl out of... Especially in the AFC these days.

I was really hoping the Giants would beat them and the Broncos tailspin would go into full free fall. I think your assessment is right on and a wild card spot just became a lot harder for us to grab. Anything can happen but the division might still be our best shot GO SAINTS!!

true. there's 4 teams in the AFC who are basically locks to go to the pay-offs every year in New England, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and San Diego. throw in a few surprise teams in Cincinnati and Denver this year, and it's getting really hard.

I would not call the Steelers locks with the schedule they have.

Ravens x 2
Dolphins
Packers
Detroit
Browns

Keep in mind they have only won 6 games, getting to ten wins with that schedule will be far from easy.

they had the toughest schedule last year and they prevailed. anyway, this year i agree. generally though, Pittsburgh is one of those elite teams who are in every year.

we need to beat 3 out of the next 5 games or we will be history like Richard Nixon.

we do have five games remaing right ? or is it just four ? if four we need to win two of them to maybe get a wildcard and that wildcard is the only wat I can see us getting in right now.

Negative batman, we have 6 games left. Our record is currently 5-5.
