Stoneburner wasn't great but I'm surprised that he was considered the worst to get cut so early from the 90 man roster. Two possibilities - (a) Maybe they are just juggling numbers for a day or 2 and Stoneburner will be back. (b) Maybe they are comfortable with the other backup talent at TE and by cutting Jake early, it is doing him a favor to get picked up elsewhere.

They cut patmon and added brandon harris...a average athlete cb best suited for the slot not great at anything
Still michael thomas would wear a target carrying coverage in the slot if he manned it every down so i like the proactiveness which is something this teams rarely done in the past

I think if ekpre was truly right hed beat out anyone in the slot...im thinking either they are taking it slow with him or hes not the same level athlete post this injury...and its possible he may never be
If he doesnt look right in the preseason id ir him with a fictitious injury and give him one more camp in 2017...after that i cant carry him any more time to move on if he doesnt flash
