Stop the trade S. Morris talk. If you take a good look at our offensive backfield, Morris is the # 3 guy. He is a better all purpose back than Gordon, and Minor. With a good O line he could be a 1,000+ yard rusher. Every time he gets his hands on the ball he goes all out, that is more than I can say for Gordon. I can’t say anything bad about Minor, Morris just has better hands, and a weight advantage. Last year he put up over 500 yard, with our dismal O line and only starting like half the games. Having to monsters in the backfield like Williams and Brown gives you the freedom to have an all-purpose back like Morris. He is a beast on special teams, both tackling and on returns. He is worth more than a 4th, 5th, or 6th round draft pick.

As far as Gordon and Minor, I think we should cut our losses and dump Gordon. By keeping Morris and Minor You have two big pounding backs and two good all-purpose backs that can also play special teams pretty good.

We can call it the M&M R/R crossing.

you go on to talk about all his positives, yet you keep on saying that he's the #3 back. If we get a trade for our #3 back, you take it, especially if its reasonable!

Once Ricky comes back, Morris will never see the field. We can just as easily have Harris, Gordon, or Minor be our #3

btw, Morris is NOT an all purpose back. He doesnt have the speed to be an all purpose back. Also, Minor does returns, not Sammy!

If someone like the eagles wants morris, and are willing to give up a 3rd-5th round pick for him, i can't say i wouldn't pull the trigger.

Actually Minor has an advantage right now because of how well he plays special teams. I guess you could make an argument that Morris can play halfback and fullback though...

One of the reason the line looked so bad was because Morris was in the backfield.

I say trade Morris for a good offer. But what is a good offer? I'd only accept a low-mid 3rd or more. Morris has alot of value to us, as a situational HB, 3rd down back, FB, special teamer, etc.

What has Harris done to date? Everyone is hyped on him from college, but he hasn't proved anything Morris has. Gordon has proved he was a waste of a pick. Minor is an alright 3rd-4th back, but can not be used in as many was as Morris.

Morris isn't an all purpose back. I like Morris but if someone wants him for a decent price, they can have him.

I love Sammy, but if I can get a 4th for him then I'll drive him to the airport myself. Nothing less, though.

I think we definitely trade one of our backs to the Eagles, it would make sense for them to get one of our backs. Westbrook is not a fulltime back in my opinion. We can get a 5th at least from them for one of our backs

I saw him make a great open-field tackle agianst the Stealers. He may not be a return specialist but he can tackle.

If we do trade him i would not take anything less than a 3rd round pick, or an O lineman that could start now.

the world doesn't work like that. A 4th or 5th round would be nice.

I'd hate to let Morris go, but if they are offering a 3rd I would definately do so.

Morris is by far and away our most well-rounded back. Of Minor, Harris, and Gordon, none of them are better at anything besides maybe recieving.

He's a better blocker, by far and away then any of them.

He is a much better runner. He had 4.0 ypc behind a terrible line last season. Hell, Ricky only got 3.5 behind a better line.

He is a fantastic short-yardage back. Last season he had the most 3rd down conversions of any back, and the second highest rate of conversion.
