stop blaiming daunte-batch has 3 tds

pittsburg doesnt even run the ball, but parker gets his 100 yds, and batch throws for 3 touchdowns. we lost because of our secondary
 
I agree. Actually, the whole defense stunk. They didn't get much pressure on Batch and Parker ran well on them.
 
Batch is a much more profiecent passer then Daunte, We all watched it tonight ! A better QB beat the pants off a far inferior QB
 
Completely agree, when charlie batch lights you up for 3tds the least of your problems are culpepper throwing two interceptions late in the fourth quarter, in obvious passing situations against a top 5 defence.
 
Batch threw 3 TD's because Miami was playing way too much zone coverage. They just let Pitts receivers off the line too easy, released them to the safeties, and Batch just hit the receivers in the open spot in the zone.

Even on Wards TD reception, he got off the line and roamed free to the back of the enz done, and Batch hit him for the score. I have no clue why you would release a receiver into the endzone like that, doesnt make sense

problem is our secondary is horrible on cover, and our blitzing sucks, so every third and 5 when we sent the blitz batch just tossed the ball to a wide open reciever standing on the first down line. that wears a defense out, and is going to hurt us all year long. batch is not a good qb, and pitt doesnt have a passing offense. but they lit us up. saban may be a good coach but he f-ed up on our secondary. we didnt look like we had any safeties at all tonight. we should bring lance back. our dline was awful on pass rush, gave batch all day to throw the ball.
people need to sto looking at those two picks, look at the rest of the game. all the plays where daunte got the ball off with defenders constantly in his face. they blitzed him all night.
 
Seriously. At least spread the blame around. The oline and ronnie had something like 15 carries for 30 yards. Granted the Steelers probably have the best run defense in the league, but that is not going to get it done. Mike Martz thinks we should have run the ball more in the second half. How about some blame for Zach and the secondary for allowing a TE to get a 87 yard TD catch. That was ridiculous.

How bout receivers unable to get open?? Welker was the only one.. Chambers can't beat one on one coverage, it's ridiculous!! I'm sayin it, he is a #2 Receiver!!!

They played well tonight but they won't repeat.
 
Is it me or does Zach look a step slower?
 
zack looked bad tonight. we should try to send a draft pick over to san diego for donnie edwards to help boost our linebacking core. zacks not going to make plays all over the field like in years past this year.
secondary is pathetic. couldnt be much worse. OR COULD IT???? no it couldnt
but look on the bright side. in all reality, if we get the daunte from the first three quarters for the rest of the season, well have a pro bowl quarterback. look at his numbers up to the first INT. keep in mind chambers dropped a td that went right through his hands. look at his drive with a minute forty before half time. keep in mind he had no running gme all night and earned every yard he passed for. if we dont give up and 80 yard pass for a td, and daunte doesnt have to force those picks, we win the game and daunte is everyones best friend
