These guys have been the gaping hole in the defense the past few games. Their play simply needs to improve.

I like the verbiage. Really challenges my ability to stay focused on football.

And yes, these guys need to pick it up ASAP. Balt is a very physical team and will be watching what Denver and NYJ did in those 2 games running the ball. At the same time, the offense needs to get their act together. This 3 and out BS has got to go.

If the Jets had a even a bad QB last night they would have blown us out. We were forced to put 8-9 men in the box and man up outside for almost the entire second half. Against a QB that can throw even a little bit, we get beat deep at least twice. Gotta get that fixed ASAP

You want to blame anyone turn your eye to the other side of the ball. I'll take a defense that can keep an opponent to 13 points any day of the week. The offense needs to score more than 16 points every week. You have to score over 21 points a week to be legit.

This game shouldn't have been this close if the offense was clicking. You score 21 or 28 points on the offensive side of the ball you force the Jets to do what the Defense did by adjusting in the 2nd half, you force them to pass with an inept QB.

291 yards and 16 points on offense is not getting it done, not is today's NFL.

Starks and Mitchell have been absolutely horrible the last two games, and Odrick is not far behind. No idea why. It's like they forgot how they played the last two years. Maybe they just need a big injection of home field to snap out of their coma.

I have to agree here.

Well.....

Wake was getting blown out of plays because he kept cheating inside.

Odrick flew past the RB a few times in what should of been tackles for loss ala' Wheeler style.

Starks and Mitchell getting destroyed by the interior line leaving the pulling Guard 1v1 on LB's.

Yup..... sums it up as to why the Jets put on a first half running clinic.

Well, against Denver the offense scored 36 points on the road vs. a very good defense, but our own D allowed over 200 yards on the ground and 39 points total. So it's a team issue.

There's no doubt that during Philbin's tenure our offense has been our weakest link, but the way our defense has played the last couple of games is definitely cause for concern. If you can't stop the run in December, you are screwed.

Both sides need to show up. Offense and defense. We did that against San Diego at home, haven't seen it happen since. Maybe Buffalo but still, not a lot of points.

Offense can't do anything with the ball if the defense allows the other team to run for 200 yards.

Look I'm not saying our defense is bad but the interior line has been the weak link lately and Coyle should not be the scapegoat.

The defense did a great job not allowing more points yesterday despite all the short fields due to Sturgis looking like an average person kicking the ball.

So cover up our bad run D, by scoring more? How did that work against Denver?

How many points the ets scored s very misleading. They Can't make a pass play work to save their lifes. Our defense has been horrible.playing the run. Stop blaming the offense for that.
