DC did a good job. What do you expect if most of you so called "Big Players" on offense don't show up. Booker had freakishly easy drops in the beginning, Chambers & McMichael weren't even a factor when we needed them and our O-line was unable to set up a decent running game. DC had no real weapons to work with but still had decent stats going into the 4th quarter. The most disappointing player to me was Chris Chambers.

People need to calm down. We were playing the Superbowl Champs on the road and had a good chance of winning this one. I'm pretty sure if it weren't for Lehans foul on 3rd and 16 we might have taken this one home.

i agree. Chambers dissappointed me last night.

I think Chambers did what he could. I have to give Ike Taylor his props. He is going to be a dominant DB in this league.

McMichael wasn't a factor because he was in max protection most of the game because of the steeler blitz. As good as Chambers can be, we all know he can disappear from time to time or get red hot. He's real streaky. Remember DC is still getting to know his guys and he hasn't played a real game since Oct. I'll give him a pass for this game. Pitt. is no easy place to play considering it was opening night, primetime, and they got there rings.

Look like same old Chambers to me.......disappears when you need him most.

2 Picks in the 4th quarter when the game on the line.
He has averaged 2 picks per game his last 8 games.
I think Culpepper is great, but his weakness is massive turnovers.

Ask yourself the following question...

IF Tom Brady was at the helm last night late in the 4th quarter, do you think those two picks would be thrown, the answer is a clear NO.

Staring down your primary (Chambers) the entire second half is High School!

DC is to blame, he played like High School the second half.

There is one person that shows up to every game, and they ignored Welker in the second half.

what does tom brady have to do with this?

he is on a completely different TEAM...

If our running game would of been effective then the steelers might not of been able to drop back so much on D.

It looked like Culpepper and Chambers weren't quite on the same page last night. C-pep looked good on the underneath routes, but his long throws, the deep outs and such looked shaky. His injured knee is on his plant leg, I wonder if he's really stepping into these throws yet. He looked a little tentative when he really had to gun it in there.

Chambers was a not that great at all until the 3rd quater than he played good. However I think that if he were to play better than Miami would have had a better chance, But we played a great D and lost and we can only learn from this. I mean its not like we got blown out

Don't you get it. All the homers around here proclaimed Culpepper a LEADER. So if you're running game is not producing then your LEADER has to step up & make plays to give the team a chance to win. This LEADER turned the ball over on consecutive plays the minute his team loses the lead.

Ok DC was not the only one making mistakes but he missed multiple WR's once he got to the end zone. one fault was on Chambers for dropping the ball but all he other one was DC's fault. Remember his miss to a wide open chambers in the end zone that almost got intercepted. that play made a unpressured play on Daunte look like he missed on purpose. i was dissappointed by other players to but id have to sayDC made numerous misstakes on missing open receivers.

I agree, CPepp played well. Our o line didn't create ANY holes for the running game all freakin night. We were subjected to throw in the 4th and Pitts knew it. The first INT was a sweet d play by witch boy and the second was a bad throw.

I was impressed with Cpepp all night. The oline needs to help the ground game out. Plus its Cpepp's first real game with his new team. Guys its gonna take a little time. Batch played well enough not to lose the game.

We all wanted a win but Pitts is a well rounded team and we battled well for most of it. I sure did like watching daunte throw. Hes gota cannon and when this offense jells its gonna be awesome. stop hating, its week one with the toughest game of the year behind us, (which we almost stole)

Buffalo is in tough next week.

:shakeno: what are you talking about:confused: they didnt throw the ball to him how is that his fault? im surprised more people arent talking about the playcalling and not getting chambers, or McMicheal for that matter, more involved. thats on mularkey, not chambers. did you watch the dallas thanksgiving game or buffalo last year. chambers dissapearing:shakeno: are you sure your a dolphins fan?

to the superbowl champs and 2 pro bowlers(porter and polamalu), you guys are killing me:shakeno:
