Stop knocking chad if our front line would have contained the rush, things could have turned out better, also everyone is knocking the coaching, ok some of it was coaching, but look at us last year, by game three we had turned everything around, so let give them a chance , at least we got our first loss out of the way.

Unfortunately I wish I could say it was all the lines fault but although they were at fault most of the game we dont have the luxury of waiting for receivers to run across the field on countless cross patterns to get open because all pass play designed for this offense seem to not pass 15 yards. It is hard to find space to fit the ball when you got all of your receivers in what seems like a cluster in range of pennington. I dont knock Penningtons accuracy but he hinders this offense with his lack of ability to toss a strong long ball. For example, i know the play was designed for Pat White but i know Pennington does have the arm to sling that pass that White threw and missed on Ginn. We need to start to open the field more, defensive backs aren't respecting our passing game and that makes running that ball that much harder.

So, what you're saying is that if the line had given Chad all day to throw, he would've done a great job, right?

Well, of course, but the reality in the NFL is that QB's don't get all day to throw. They have to be able to make things happen when the conditions aren't so perfect. Chad Pennington is not that guy. Time to move on.

chad deserves blame too, just like the olineman... the only ones we cant blame really are the WRs because we cant see the routes they are running and if they are open...
