Ok, we scored 28 points today which should be enough to win any game, so because of that I can't really give the offense too much flack. However, I do have a considerable beef with the play calling which caused the offense to look anemic at times.
The strength of our offense is in our running game and our tight ends, we have no play making receivers to speak of. We cannot take our best offensive players off of the field and take the element of surprise completely out of our offense by running 5 wide receiver sets. We do not have the talent on the outside to make those kinds of plays work, especially not on first or second down, that drove me nuts today! If our passing game is going to work, we must at least have the threat of the run there.
When we feed Ronnie Brown the football, we win games, when we take him off of the field like a bunch of morons, we lose!
The empty back sets with our personnel are dumb, and they need to be gotten rid of immediately.
