Do you guys realize we have a game this week we HAVE to win if the jets game is even to be relevant for playoffs? I have no problem with jets threads, but only when we've played KC. This game is certainly no shoe in and will be equally a challenge as NY. I two, of course, am excited that we could take the AFC east and go to the playoffs, but we still have two games to play!

Ok, here it goes for the 65465465482575451 time: Fans overlooking a certain game will NOT have any effect on what happens on the field. I swear, I'm tempted to make a sticky thread about this.

But you don't understand! KC is below .500, therefore it's a trap game! I wish we were playing Pittsburgh or Tennessee this week! We are screwed! :foundout:

Um, why would you make a sticky about such a silly item?

Fans are supposed to be able to speak their mind here. I'm not saying the OP is right (after all, how we look at this game will have zero inference on the play on the field), but a sticky? Really? Might as well put up a sticky thread about "<Insert player here> sucks!" or "Sign <recent cut>!".
 
Ummm were playing the Chiefs. Unlike Jets fans who seem worried about having to play a team that totally blows(Seattle), we are not.

BECAUSE IF YOU WIN THIS WEEK YOU ARE PLAYING FOR THE PLAYOFFS!
How is that a trap game. You have to win this week. This is what the players think. We have no bearing on whether they win or lose. I'm a little....no ALOT more concerned what our head coach says to our team. Read the Miami Herald, it might clue you in to what's going on at HQ.

Yes master, I'll stop supporting the Fins for the Jets game because we play them in two weeks, I forgot we there is a world-wide rule about that, my bad. :rolleyes:

Dolphins7273 is right .. why should we stop talking about them? We are FANS, not the actual team.. we could say we're never going to win a game ever again .. and its not going to change anything. I for one, will continue to talk about the biggest game we'll see for us in over 5 years.

Here here!! Every single week someone gets upset that the fans are looking ahead. Who cares??!! Me looking forward to the Jets game is not going to affect my ability to drink beer, eat nachos and yell at my tv loudly this week!!!

Whether we talk about the Jets or not, has ZERO affect on the game in KC. :lol: Last I checked nobody here is actually suiting up for the KC game, so chill.
 
obviously it has no effect on the game, it is just that it is a bit premature because if we lose this week its irrelevant. My point was not that it would effect the game. If we lose these threads would be pointless.
 
It's not irrelevant if the Jets lose this week as well.



Btw what is your prediction on the Dolphins-Jets game?
 
He's saying you are setting up yourselves for disappointment. This team is not that good yet, we are awfully average and in the middle of the league. KC might have a terrible record, but have any of you seen them play? I have watched 4 games, and while they have a terrible record, they are young and athletic. Lets hope we can pull this one out
