I had sunday ticket last year and I never had any problems with weather cutting out any of my games....with the hurricanes coming this weekend does anyone think there will be problems with the reception on the east coast.....I am worried because my city is one of the few cities not to be broadcasting on regular television the Miami vs that ugly green team this weekend so my only hope is sunday ticket. Anybody else worried or have any stories about where they ripped their hair out because the Miami game blacked out due to weather? Just bored and concerned about watching my fins on Sunday......Let me know something and as always go FINS!!!!!!!!!!!! 1-0 Baby!!!!!

I live in New England and the only time Direct TV has cut out games is when the weather was bad in my erea. Snow Storms SUCK!! Go Fins!!!

I have been with them since 1998. It does black out when you have a thick cloud, holding lots of water, between the dish and the satellite.

I can't remeber the specific game, but it has happend to me during the game. It also happen this year in a pay per view fight and missed the first round! :(

yeah well i hope we have good enough weather so we can all you unite on sunday and get our first of many wins under our belt for the 2008 season!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention that I hate the Jets and that they are way over hyped because they have a old QB, who Dan Marino would have had more records then him if he stayed around and wouldnt just go home and retired like favre should have done!!!!!!!!!!!! Favre also has the record for most interceptions in NFL history but you know what record he doesnt hold that our QB holds.....completion %, which is a way better record to have then ints.!!!!!!

Yeah I had weather black out my dish about 10 minutes before the game started a couple of seasons ago. It's probably one of the most frustrating experiences you'll face as a fan.

I've had problems when it rains really hard. Snow doesn't seem to be to bad a factor. I always open the upstairs window and knock the snow off the dish with a brush just to make sure.
