When this happened last year I exhausted every effort to see the game short of driving to Miami. It is a poor decision by the NFL and CBS. DirecTV would love to show the game. The problem is they are legally binded by the contract they signed with the NFL to show games only on Sunday afternoons. However Im certain the NFL could make it happen for DirecTV people if they wanted to. CBS should also choose to show the game nationally and dump their crime dramas for the evening. Im sure a pregame at 7:00 game at 7:30 would do quite well in ratings. Last year they used tennis as an excuse. The NFL is hiding behind not wanting to infringe upon high school football. Thats weak. People can go to the high school games if they want. The NFL is a low class orginization. They hold a press conference to say they donate one million to hurricane relief. That like me writing the newspaper to say I gave some canned goods the the shelter. What a joke. And btw, I signed that petition but saying that you will cancel right after you said you get Directv only for phins games is an obvious bluff. That like a drug addict telling their only dealer the don't wont to talk to them anymore. Anyone know where I can see or hear the game live???

this is such a rare thing to happen. i dont see what the big deal is at all.
it makes sense that the NFL shouldn't schedule games on these days because they would dominate the other levels, but its an emergency situation and isnt meant to detract from any other games

I am so sick of this. I missed two games last year because of this crap. I have NFL Sunday Ticket, two satellite dishes and all I want to do is watch the Dolphins play. I thought ESPN or someone would air it (the way they made it sound on the radio) then I just got home and checked this out. I am so ****ing pissed off. I know it is only one game but I just hate when this **** happens and they don't bother airing it. It is probably the fact that they don't air it that really pisses me off. Not watching a game I can deal with, I won't be happy with it but I can deal with it.

It's not only one game. When you ONLY get 16 games, one game is a lot. I am going to call and get a refund on the rest of my NFL Ticket package, then dump direct TV all together and just use digital cable.

It's the Titan game all over again from last year. Directv says it's the NFL's fault and vice versa. ESPN1,2,3,4,5,6,7, or the ocho should put in a bid for the game.
