I have seen a mock draft where these players are available at #9.

Quinn, Okoye, Branch, Hall, Brown.

Interesting choice among those.
 
I would have to go with Quinn even though all the ones mentioned are going to be studs

But im not stupid either, We take him if hes there.
 
If Quinn falls to us at #9 then I'll be happy. I'm not a huge fan of his at all but I think there is enough interest in this kid that other teams may be willing to trade down at that point. It's too bad Brohm didn't decalre- I'm not a huge fan of him either- because I think having him in the draft would actually have made the nine position even more valuable. A lot of people on this site are hoping we land Ginn. I'm just not sold on him yet. He has some mad skills but he isn't polished yet and I'm not convinced his skills will translate to the NFL. I personally hope we trade down. I wouldn't mind seeing Okoye here but 9 may be a reach.

I know what I said. Russell is talented for sure, but I don't think he should be the first player taken in the draft. IMO Johnson, Thomas and Quinn are all better players. I think too much stock is getting put into him tearing apart a VERY weak Notre Dame secondary. A lot of his receivers were open by a good ten yards. His decision making still leaves something to be desired. I hate Notre Dame, but I would be thrilled if we wound up with Quinn.

I think i agree...with every word you just said. I hate notre dame too. I wanted Russell really bad. I became very annoyed when his draft status went from late first round to...First overall. Russell had a good season, but he is overrated due to the bowl game and his freakish body size.

I'll take quinn though.

DO NOT TAKE QUINN---every time i look at him-ryan leaf. Quinn is so overrated. ARMY, NAVY AND AIR FORCE-- PLEASE--NOTRE DAMN BLOWS AND THE SCHOOL IS JUST LIKE THEIR QB.

i think the fact that he can throw the ball 40 yards sitting down has a pretty big part of it-Russel's has some things missing mentally but physically he has what you want from a QB
